Why that Brendan is a good dancer. Do you disagree?

Here he is in a professional demo:

He has a very balletic style - it looks as if he had considerable ballet training at some time.

He does indeed. The rumba is heartbreakingly beautiful. What I notices about it was how very tactile it was without being in any way raunchy. Natilie's arms wrapped themselves around Brendan and then fell away, brendan picked her up into an embrace then she slid out of his arms like water. We can't expect Sophie to move like Natalie did but it's no use saying that she could not have been more expressive in her dance. Brendan is not married to Natalie but that dance was still emotionally fulfilling. And no, it in no way resembled 'pole-dancing'.

Best rhumba performances for me - Rachel and Natalie (I thought Natalie undermarked.)

Cheri's was lovely but didn't grab me quite as much.

Loved Kara's though I found the constant use of the arms distracting.

I would put Sophie's below the above but I still loved it; I found it tender and beguiling - love comes in many forms.

Although I didn't vote for Kara she fully deserved to win as does anyone who wins the public vote.

musicangel I'm a Brendan fan for many reasons but there is no denying that other pros and their partners have turned in some mesmerising performances. Your opinions would carry more credence if you acknowledged this now and again.

I agree. All the pros have had good dances and whether you like the pro or not, they should be acknowledged. I'm not keen on James but he and Cherie danced a lovely Rhumba. My favourite dance by Natalie and Artem was their Rhumba, it was beautiful. Whereas I cant think of an amazing Rhumba from my favourite pro, Pasha.

Not even the one he did with Chelsee?
