As for Natalie, we'll just have to agree to disagree. I think on the dancefloor they have a good working relationship and in training and on ITT they seem to have a lot of friendly banter....so I see nothing untoward as regards their chemisty, its fine. They are both hard workers and perfectionists and I suspect that Natalie is more then willing to put in a lot of hours.

You know for sure that all the pros choose their own music?”

Agree.....For the last time or maybe not for some nasty minded people. Artem does not treat Natalie badly he is a perfect gentleman plus HE DOES NOT CHOOSE HIS OWN MUSIC and to finish his choreography is miles above the other Pros miles above.

Is that just aimed at Toby_Jugg or at all of us that don't see a 'connection'?

I do understand what you mean. Everyone can see the worst or best in many situations/people if they try hard enough. While I love to watch Artem dance in pro numbers I haven't enjoyed him in a celeb partnership. I just haven't as much as I would like to.

The first part was in response to Toby Jug and his view on the hug and the second part could apply to all of us .

Which is the beauty of the show - we all see different things and like different things and it caters for a wide variety of tastes.

I don't personally CHOOSE to see anything bad in any of the contestants (or pros) - at least not consciously.

I didn't know Natalie before this series started, didn't know Ashley either - knew very little about Ben, Fiona and many others, so had no preconceived opinions.

My opinions are based purely and simply on what I see every weekend and on ITT each night.

I'd love to see Deborah still there and have a couple of 'favourites' who I would like to see in the final and go on to win.

I think Natalie deserves to be in the final - she is the best dancer after all - but I'd prefer other people to win.

WHERE!!! Did I say I didn't like Natalie??? I just have not been drawn in by any of her performances, as long as you loved her routine everything is hunky-dory

Er no. I said that the poster's remarks about Natalie, her being 'overmarked' was one example, were not original remarks. That's a fact. Many threads/posters have used the same remarks.

If it is someone's opinion that Natalie is over-rated and over-marked then fair enough. No need to start insulting them or somehow discounting their opinion simply because it's been stated by other people. To me that shows other people share that opinion, you just don't happen to be one of them.

I would love to enjoy their dances more, she's a very good dancer but there's something that isn't connecting for me and I can only express how I feel as I can't experience the dance through anybody else's eyes. Btw, before you moan at me for disliking Natalie or Artem, I don't, I just don't enjoy their dances as much as some of the others.

The only people being rude are you and late one. You have made just five posts and yet are so confident. Strange that.

No chemistry with Kara?

I don't think I've been rude. To whom? I don't like personal, rude comments about anyone, including dancers, which have no basis in fact.

People are obviously entitled to comment on the dancing. You don't like Artem and Natalie's dancing, that's fine. ,

I can only agree with the OP and the comments left by other forum members. I feel an emotional connection to all the contestants left except Natalie and Artem.

I think they're technically good but theres no heart to their performances. You can't win strictly without it imo

I follow SCD page on facebook, and twitter,"Absolutely everywhere"means all the social networking and forums. I follow this forum for last 3,4years at least. My last account tokyosalsagirl was invalid as I forgot password. I was following BBC forum as well, before they change format. Just don't write that often, not that new to the forum actually...

Read back.

And that is what some have been giving, their reasons for not liking Artem and Natalie's dancing, which includes their partnership.

I doubt many of us know true facts about any of the dancers tbh. So we have perceptions based on what we see and hear.

Then please accept my apologies. Perhaps you would proffer yours for calling some FM's cyber bullies? I have only seen slight exasperation and gentle joshing.

I think the difficulty is that Artėm is a very strong flavour. He is emotional (I don't doubt that) but you need a tough character to stand up to him one-to-one (Fern didn't have it and was downcast; Holly did stand up to him but in an ironic, detached way). The ones who are tough or independent enough to withstand his intensity don't necessarily come across as emotional. Natalie seems to me determined to push herself to the utmost rather than presenting as susceptible or emotionally responsive.

The connection is hard to see unless you look with the eyes of a committed Arty lover. If he's your route in to the partnership there's a much better chance you'll see emotion. If you're looking for the give and take of an in-the-moment conversation between them, maybe it's not there.

Perhaps Natalie is just one of those unfortunate people who either finds it difficult to show true joy, so relies upon the 'Synchronised Swimming Smile' during the routines (a bit like the ones utilised by a lot of the children at Blackpool from The Stepford School of Dance) or maybe that is just her natural 'happy face'.

I really don't know - I just know that it comes across to me as acting the emotions of each dance rather than feeling them for real.

Your "factual" comment was in response to the poster stating it was their opinion. You may have meant it to be about their opinion not being an "original" one but it wasn't particularly clear and, at the end of the day, whether it's original or not, it's still their opinion and one they're entitled to express.

It's OK. I'm not a British(I'm resident but basically stay here as a EU citizen) and English is my second language. That's another reason I rarely write. I've seen your comment before, and know people like Sid or Jan from BBC forum.

No, it's called an opinion, not a fact
