Was Lisa Riley the worst contestant in the history of SCD?
Unfathomably favoured by the judges.
A stompy disaster in most dances Irritating, "I'm doing it for the fat lasses" journey. Worse than Widdy. There, I've said it. |

Last year I started a thread entitled 'Was Ann better at the Ballroom dances than Lisa?' and I got shot down. I fear the same for you with this thread

Err...no.
She might have been the most over-rated though. |

Not the worst but she was over-rated and I found all the "you're a good dancer for a fat girl" stuff very patronising.

The most over-rated? Yes. The worst? No.

She might have been the most over-rated though. I said worst contestant, not worst dancer.

She used to cause me a moment of temporal uncertainty every week, when she would do the exact same side-by-side Stompygurny hand jive number, get the exact same "Yerrr there's some issues but you've come out with a TAHN OF FAHN and a LORRAENERGY" comments and do the exact same "who would've thought me from Manchester would be here/doing it for the heavy mob" speech every week. Eventually I took to watching Strictly with that day's newspaper in my lap, to reassure me that I hadn't somehow slid back seven days.

Lisa was both over-rated and over-hated (see : the screeching hysterics here over her getting to present a 5 minute segment on It Takes Two, twice). Personally I liked a handful of her dancers and found her gradually increasing delusions and brittleness over the series quite funny. The faces she pulled when the judges told her her rumba was crap still make me laugh.

... err but she had and has a commercial relationship with Craig. 'Nuff said.
I would say she was worse than several of those already kicked out this year and all those that are left. |

Nowhere near the worst, but also nowhere near the scores she got for the most part.

Yup and now have to put up with her presenting live show. I'm seriously thinking of not going this year. Can't be doing with the woman.

erm I would say that crown is widdys...
most over rated.. puts on a helmet and shouts Pamela Runs Although as much as Lisa was overrated, I'm starting to think Patrick might be this year's equivalent... really don't think he's as good as the judges say... before his Blackpool Samba, all his attempts at Latin had been atrocious! |
