I don't think there's anything in it - it's clearly an unconscious thing due to nerves and not anything worth taking note of. I agree with the comment above about them not having that sort of chemistry, which I think actually is assisting their partnership.

I think he likes her more than she likes him. But I think they have a professional boundary too they don't cross..sometimes on this show the dancers cross it way too much for my liking, we all know we Calzaghe and Kristina (and a few others), it just looks unprofessional imo.

They look like they have fun as the young ones and Ola is pushing him hard.

I would think when you are dancing 'up close and personal' with a good looking man/woman every day of the week, you are bound to develop a very close relationship. That doesn't mean there's anything else going on. Dancing is a very tactile activity.

I thought so too, I didn't know anything about him before this series. He probably is straight, just rather camp.

I've mentioned this in another thread, but anyway, it's still relevant.
I was seeing a male friend out of my house one evening, he'd been round to pick something up, and stopped for a cuppa. We're on light cheek kissing terms.
While I was talking to him, I was thinking of my then boyfriend, who lived a 100 or so miles away, and I wasn't seeing him for a week, and was missing him a lot.
So as I was seeing male friend out, while thinking of boyfriend, I gave the male friend a full on smacker on the lips. Uncomfortable.

That was me in my own home defaulting to automatic, god only knows how hard it must be for the dancers not to get automatically touchy freely. Plus they've spent weeks now in very close contact. I don't read too much into their clinches.

From the Pamela Stephenson article that was linked here recently, it sounded like James and Ola accept that a good celeb partnership is going to have some sexual chemistry and don't let it worry them, indeed go out of their way to let the celeb know it's not an issue. In which case, I can only admire their relationship as I'm not sure I could do that!

Immediately after performing a dance to millions, then being put in front of a camera to talk about it, while waiting to see how hes going to be marked, I'm sure the last thing on his mind is to have the desire to touch up Ola! Its clearly just a little nervous fidgeting and the only thing it shows is that hes comfortable with Ola, which I think he is. I can see no chemistry between them at all (in that way) both in their interviews (including the one where James interviewed them!) and all their behind the scenes stuff. They do look very comfortable together as friends.

Please may I have sexual chemistry with Ola? (and Sophie, Abi and all the female pro dancers et al?)
