When Janine and Barry lived there they decorated the whole place !
The living room was cream with a red boarder…….
And yet now the moons have moved in all the decorating is the same as when pat and roy lived there
(if you watched eps on 20th birthday weekend, you wud of noticed)

This is SPOOKY

I did think it looked very flowery again but I don't remember what it was like when Janine and Barry were there.
I don't understand how it could happen though - surely they just use the same set ?

I though that she made it look better - not that that's saying much!

Well, it's not like soaps don't revise history when it comes to houses is it?
I can't believe the Slaters managed to move back into their exact same house they used to live in way back! Kat mentioned looking out of one particular window at the moon, knowing she'd be safe from dodgy Harry. Why on earth would the family wanna live in the same house again?

But better than that, the Hunter family in Hollyoaks, they moved into the town a few years back and their daughter Ellie was mysteriously missing (living it up in Ibiza) and the crazy thing was they had a plot where they finally decided to move on and that they would move her stuff from her room which was a shrine to her. Bizarrely, not only was everything set up in there as if she'd lived in it, but they mentioned her wallpaper too! Did they really transplant the exact same room from their old house and set it up in the new one- not very healthy! Mind you, it is the Hunter family we're talking about!

Mind you, even if they did grow up in Clapham, doesn't mean the writers didn't momentarily forget and give her a stupid line like that. Continuity in EastEnders leaves a lot to be desired!

I thought she just managed to persuade Barry to change the couch though wasn't he having problems redecorating the whole house as it was too painful as it reminded him of his father, happier times etc etc

Maybe Stacey will help the Moons redecorate, given she *is* the new Janine?

She is exactly the same. Can't believe they thought people wouldn't notice.

I'm sure she's even stolen Janine's earrings! Maybe Pat got revenge on Janine for when she sold all Barry's stuff on the market. We've seen Stacey pinching from there, which would explain everything!
