i have been using spotify premium with virgin for two years with no problems untill this month when i renewed my contract. When i first had spotify all mobile data streamed from spotify was not deducted from my data allowance, but since my new contract started it is now being deducted, i thought that virgin do not count data use under spotify, or has this now changed.
I spoke to a manager at virgin who didnt sound sure, but she was adamant that it was only for a promotional period, and they now do not offer this, does anyone know if this is correct?

I've been with Virgin for a few months now, and Spotify data usage has always been deducted from my allowance / counted, just as I would expect it to be. If it didn't originally get deducted for you then yes, I think it's highly likely that was a promotional offer.
