Calling all Ben fans - Stand Up!

Well folks - no doubting the judges were right to vote to keep Mark, but we can still show our support for Ben by heading off to the Stand Up Foundation and supporting his charity!

I liked him and wonder though tonight if he was relieved to go.

His dance-off looked really - well, not exactly half-hearted, but when he went wrong near to the end, he actually turned to Kristina and shrugged his shoulders...

I "stand up" every time I see Ben and his muscles.

Well they are selling his 2014 calendar on the Stand Up Foundation website - apparently the shower photo would please you

90 minutes and only 5 posts, so maybe not many fans after all

Which might explain, sadly, why he didn't get enough votes from the public. I thought he'd be safe despite finishing last in on judge’s list.

I think a combination of severe nerves and the fact that he lost concentration played a part, and the fact that his wife was in the audience watching. Love and admire him.

I love Ben's foundation and sad he's gone. It's been good to be able to raise the issue of bullying and homophobia with my eldest via Ben's participation in Strictly. What a great bloke.

His foundation is obviously important to him and very personal considering what happened to his dad. I'm glad the show has given Ben a bit more profile among non-sports fans.

Sorry about my previous, rather inappropriate comment. Wrong thread. On the topic, I hope people support Ben's foundation, and thank you OP for the link.

Hehe

From what I can gather, Ben knew he wasn't a good dancer. I'm glad he was voted off, but I respect him for the anti-bullying work. Kristina seems to think that it's a great injustice that he's been voted off
