For fans of Australian TV, a new show comes to BBC1 on weekday afternoons at 2:15pm starting tomorrow Monday 18th November. Starring Craig McLachlan as a maverick country town doctor. First series is 10 episodes. Good to see some more Australian TV back on daytime TV!

As a fan of Australian TV, I'll be recording this onto my HDD to watch later at my convenience.

I love that programme, never miss it!

When I saw a picture of Craig McLachlan in my TV mag, in a pic of the main characters, I didn't recognise him!

I never expected him to look like Henry, but it took a while to realise it was him!

This and Cagney and Lacey. It has taken them a while to realise that getting rid of their imports was a bad idea. Just wish they would bring back All Saints. That was a brilliant show they treated miserably. I think I'll be checking this out. Thanks for the heads up.

Just started a thread on this show..didn't see there was already one..

Henry is totally unrecognisable...

Finding it rather hard to stay focused on this tbh.

Once he stepped out of the car in the first scene I saw Henry! lol

But Crikey! I haven't seen Nadine Garner since she was Gloria in Class Act 20 years ago!

Nice to see her again.

I LOVED All Saints! Wish they hadn't stopped showing it. I taped most of the episodes they showed. Pity they didn't start it from the beginning.

I read the thread title and thought we going to be seeing Daleks vs Servalan, and K9 vs Orac

That about sums it up for me as well.

Not too light and not too dark

I am watching this on iplayer, catch-up, and finding as a old fashioned police series set in Australia 50's it is not bad, and would have made a nice evening slot, instead of say New Tricks repeats, anyone else watching it.

This is poor isn't it, even for a day-time show?
It seems to have been shot through an empty aquarium where the green algae bloom needs cleaning from the glass.

Hasn't he! I only watched some of the first one and didn't enjoy it.

I need The Indian Doctor back.

Have watched a couple so far. I quite like it to be honest!
Nice 50's setting, good old-fashioned police/doctor looking into the murder of the day. Alcoholic Doctor and his unconventional home-life. Nice afternoon TV to me.
Cannot believe that's Henry from Neighbours!! The name Craig Maclachlan rang a bell....but I didn't realise it was him.
