This video message by Joel Tobeck from February 2016 did seem to suggest that Lawson might be back at some point

Verence.. thanks so much for this clip, do you know what?.. I don't think I saw the last episode now I have looked at that clip!, I just don't remember seeing that at all and I was sure I watched all of the last series!... I do remember something about her son was he going to be a father?... I have a feeling that was in the plot line but I am sure I never saw that bus scene!...... I think I will have to go back on youtube and see if I can find the whole of that last episode...... Thanks again.....

I just love the forensic details; any old bottles do for water samples, even the doc's hastily emptied hip flask. Did I see any labels, gloves or evidence, when he picked up that G from the river?

I wasn't impressed with this series. Bringing Lucien's wife back from the dead was completely unnecessary and other than liking Rose and Frank, I thought this series felt forced. Getting rid of Mattie just added to the bad ideas they had.

I love this series but have no idea why they did what they did with last episode, all the stuff with his wife seemed pointless and we never seem to get any further along with Jean and Lucien.

The "will they won't they?" is such an essential ploy in so many serial dramas. If they "do," then some will lose interest, if that haven't already like me. The number of "interruptions," they've had when they're about to share a "moment," is pathetic. |

Series 5 has completed filming but we are unlikely to see it until November |
