Would I be stirring if I said Susannah sounded a much better singer than any of the others?

Or would people suggest that all of them were told to sing badly for the sake of the "joke" but Susannah had too much ego to do so?

I got the impression that it was a bit tongue in cheek. She either deliberately sang badly or knew she could not sing but was prepared to have a laugh.
