I am looking for some recommendations for a set of new cordless phones and answer phone.

I would like 5corldess and 1fixed-answerphone base unit.

In the past we have had two different makes of cordless phones which were meant to be able to work together, but they never worked correctly. Is there a way of ensuing that any extra handsets will work with the base set.

Yeeaahh... OK, we'll call DECT phones mobiles then! Hahahaha
