Absolutely agree. Rumba should be romantic at best, or simply a bit flirty. Children as young as 6 dance wonderful rumbas, and all they are told is to smile at their partners like they would smile when they meet their best friend.
Brendan's rumba with Claire King (mentioned above) was rubbish, not only could she not dance, but seemed to have the attitude that it was all a bit beneath her to even try, so Brendan's attitude? - "what the heck"!
Brendan had no problem doing "filthy, dirty" dances when he was paired with Rachel. Has fatherhood changed the former bad boy of the ballroom?
