Well, Anna, you can't say you were not warned about Faye.
The problem is going to be, I think, that the tables will be turned and Faye made out to be the victim.
Think back to what she has been all along.... a vile and nasty character (the character, not the actress).

I think that'll happen aswell. Faye will get the sympthy vote because Grace was kind of bullying her too. I don't feel bad for Faye though. She knew Grace was a bully, and she knows right from wrong. Plus she was given the opportunity more than once to admit Grace was a bad 'un and she didn't. I'm struggling to feel sorry for her. And it made me angry when Anna was making excuses for her like "she's had a hard life, she just wants to please everyone". Yeah right Anna, open your eyes love

It's obvious that Grace is going to get the blame for it all since they've shown Faye as "feeling guilty" and sorry when Grace was just sitting around, watching TV with a tub of ice cream without a care in the world. Faye is still as much as a bully as Grace is though.

Faye is a vile Character ,and always has been a manipulative little Madam since she arrived As for Anna and "she's had a hard life" spiel ,yes love well so has Simon Barlow ,who's Mum died, who's Dad preferred drink over him and nearly burnt him to death ,and then who's treated as an inconvience by all the Adults in his life ,who push him from pillar to post whenever things are going difficult in their lives

So i for one won't see Faye as the victim no matter how much Corrie try to get us to see it that way .Faye was just running true to form -being a nasty ,spiteful little cow the way she's always been since she arrived on the street and it's about time Anna woke up to that fact instead of making excuses for her and acting like it's never her fault

^ lol. That's what I wanted to say but thought I'd get pounced on So true. She's really unlikeable as a character.

So, so true, you said what I was thinking.

Faye has shown herself to be compassionate and sensitive. She is being forced into unpleasant behaviour by Grace. She deserves praise not vitriol. She has been totally redeemed.

Let her eat ice cream in front of a 52" flat screen TV...

Did you chose on your words at all while you were typing them?

Of course she has shown her sensitivity and compassionate side. I am quite sure that when she went into her garden a few months ago and with such care and attention to detail, killed all the goldfish that were swimming around in that little pond that Owen made, without a care that they were living creatures, that she watched squirm and thrash about while dying. That really shows a sensitive side. But after all am sure you will say it wasnt Fayes fault! After all it's what Grace would have wanted.
However Grace wasnt around at the time.
Grace is a bully, and although Faye may have the ability to feel guilt, her problems and capacity for cruel reckless behaviour go far far deeper than those of Grace.

I think we'll soon see the warmth emerge in Faye's character. She's had a tough time but Anna and Owen will soon be reaping the rewards.

Faye doesn't appear to me to feel that guilty. She is still more concerned about what Grace thinks of her and of the trouble she is in, than the trouble she caused.

Of course they will! She will soon be out on the debtors doorsteps collecting on Owens unpaid invoices with Grace in tow. Result!

Poor Faye she can't win with you lot. Would you prefer her to be brazen and not show any regret The story, whether you like it or not (not it seems) has been explained. Faye, having been rejected by her mum and dad and ending up in care is hyper scared of rejection so when she finally gets a friend she cannot say no in case they reject her.

Grace is clearly unsuitable and has obviously picked Faye because she sensed she could use her.

Anna hasn't been the best of mums at all. Almost as soon as she got Faye and Eddie left she was after Owen who Faye clearly disliked and who Faye was obviously jealous of because of the time he took from her and her mum. Anna really should have devoted more time to an adopted very needy child like Faye.

Anyway whether you lot like it or not Faye is hopefully going to emerge from this stronger and be an asset on Corrie

If it was real I'd prefer her to display some real concern about Simon. As it isn't I'm happy enough for her to be a wee bitch.

Which would not excuse her

Because she seances that Faye has no strong moral code.

She devoted lots of time to her and broke it off with Owen to put Faye first.

We'll see.

She didn't seem to care that much in the video. Did you see her being hesitant or Grace shouting at her to do it? She only cares about protecting herself and her bezzie mate. Anna can see whoever she wants, she'd tried to be careful with Faye and take it slowly with Owen and he's been more of a father figure than anyone else has ever been. Faye's behaviour cannot be excused with the 'adoption' thing forever, she's old enough now and she's been living with Anna for long enough to know better.

I can't stand the way Faye acts...so naughty, petulant and sly .... And I agree with a lot of the comments.......BUT..... She is only 11 years old......

I'm sure she'll come right in the end.

That or in prison as soon as she's old enough.

Anna's truly a silly bitch. There, I've said it. Her blindness where Faye's concerned is really annoying. I was irritated to hear her making excuses for that little thug and while I do think Faye is under Grace's thumb a bit, she still knows what she was doing was wrong but did it anyway. Faye's attitude in general stinks and it's not helped by Anna babying her.

'Faye was rejected by her parents' - now we can see why; she is a really vile character. It doesn't help that the girl playing the part can't act. Perhaps if they re-cast the character viewers might have more synpathy for her; but, better still, finish the story and let's get back to grown up storylines.

I think the writers (in this case) have tried to keep Fay within the bounds of her character. She's an insecure little girl who will accept friendship/control , especially from her peers and especially from such a controller as Grace. 'Grace' such a misnomer!
She doesn't see the bigger picture...eg that she has REAL love and care from some people . She's making bad choices because of her fears.
It's not often I say the writers are doing a good job.
