If you could choose any song at all for the final 5, what would you pick for who?

For me

Luke- I don't love you by My Chemical Romance
Sam- It's all coming back to me by Meatloaf (Celine Dion version)

Not sure about the other 3

Nicholas - Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd.

Obviously Louis is more likely to give him You Raise Me Up or something though

An up-tempo song that I'd like to see Tamera sing would be Think Like A Man by Jennifer Hudson and a ballad I'd like to see her sing is Unbreak My Heart by Toni Braxton

I think Luke could do a really nice version of Counting Stars by One Republic. And it's a bit of a leftfield suggestion, but Kiss The Rain by Billie Meyers is SUCH an XF type song but it's never been done on the show. Sam would sound amazing singing it.

If I was invested in Luke I'd definitely want him to do something much rockier than he has been so far. His voice isn't so great when he's singing softer, but he does the rock growl very well. Maybe Back in Black by AC/DC, or You Shook Me All Night Long.

I want to see him do something rockier as well but those might be just too far for x factor

I said in a previous thread that I would like Sam to sing a big club track like titanium or only girl in the world which allow her to belt but still do a modern, uptempo tune. I would give rough copy dedication to my ex.

Nicholas - Carry You Union J
It's uptempo something which he needs to do and it is probably one of only uptempo songs that would fit his range

I agree that Luke could do with a rockier song

Luke Soldier of Fortune - Deep Purple OR Just - Radiohead

Sam Baily Cry Baby - Janis Joplin

Tamera One Way or Another - Blondie

Rough Copy Ms Jackson - Outkast

Nicholas: Sweetest Thing - U2

or because I kept going back to them. What I would give if it was just Queen week

Rough Copy: Don't stop me Now
Sam: Somebody To Love
Luke: Tie Your Mother Down
Nicolas: Love of my life
Tamera: Too Much Love Will Kill You

Is it wrong that I think Luke could do a Don't Cry by Guns and Roses cover, obvs make it his own rather than imitate Axl but... he's got a throaty voice I kinda want to see it put to a harder rock use

Sam Bailey - Cry Baby Janis Joplin.

She would bring the house down with it!
Loved Melanie Massons audition when she sang this!

As a Melanie Masson fan, I would advise Sam to leave that song alone. Only Melanie can SANG that song. There's a bridge in the song where Melanie sings notes beyond G5 which I don't think Sam Bailey can do. Plus, Sam isn't' a blues-rock singer, and her version would sound like good karaoke.

He has a lot of latitude b/c Kings of Leon would be perfect for him. I think "Use Somebody" or "Radioactive would work, something grungy and well-known.
Also, I'd LOVE for Luke to sing "Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol. He would have a moment with that song!!
