So if the Strictly fairy granted you a turn on the show, what songs would you choose for your dances?

I can't come up with them all at once, but off the top of my head:

Foxtrot - Laughter in the Rain (Sedaka)
Tango - Seven Nation Army - White Stripes

I also want to dance to Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps but I don't know what dance would fit. Also Dolly Parton's Butterflies.

How about you?

That would fox them.

I would like a rumba to Joe Satriani - Always with me always with you (without Nicki Minaj though)

Tango to Dance by Shaznay Lewis

Halloween Waltz or AS to Favourite Things by Big Brovaz

I'm not very good at identifying which song best fits which dance, but I'd like to dance to Moondance as well - either the Van Morrison original or the Michael Bublé cover.
EDIT: Also, I'd also love to dance to either the Nina Simone original or the Bublé cover of Feelin' Good.

Jive to the Big Bad Voodoo Daddy cover of Jumpin' Jive.

Maybe for fusion week - Rumba morphing into Salsa at 0:47 into Samba at 2:38 into Salsa at 3:25 ...

I prefer this version especially at 2:00

Since we've got Roberto Alagna let him sing "Piensa en Mí" to a Rumba - In Paso Doble style without the poncey style of an SCD Rumba.

Me neither outside the areas I know. But fun to guess and a good choice. Its quite swingy so I am guessing a foxtrot. Hopefully someone will stop by and put us straight eh?

My choices would be:

Cha Cha Cha: "Casino Royale" by Herb Alpert or "Dance Away" by Roxy Music
Paso Doble: "Legend of Xanadu" by Dave Dee Dozy Beaky Mick & Titch or "Firedance" from Riverdance
Salsa: "I Haven't Stopped Dancing Yet" by Gonzalez
Charleston: "When I'm Cleaning Windows" by George Formby
Jive: "Do The Hucklebuck" by Coast to Coast

Viennese Waltz: "Theme From A Summer Place" by Percy Faith Orchestra
American Smooth: "It's So Easy" by Andy Williams

(undecided at the moment for Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, Rumba, Samba, Quickstep and Argentine Tango)

Ooooh, I forgot about the Charleston... something from Thoroughly Modern Millie, I think.

I found this ballroom Cha Cha Cha to it. It is sung in Spanish and Italian. Sounds pretty good in Italian as well.

American Smooth - We Have All the time in the World - Louis Armstrong
Tango - "Blame Canada" from the South Park movie (one swear would need removing but was nominated best song at The Oscars)
Rumba - Up There (The Devil's song) - South Park movie (assuming it was Halloween or movie week and the producers were trying to get rid of me)
Paso Doble - Fairytale of New York - The Pogues and Kirsty McColl (being most-modern and doing an Irish Paso !!)
Jive - Foot Tapper by The Shadows
Foxtrot - Woke up this morning (Sopranos Theme)
Charleston- We both reached for the gun (Chicago)
