This episode of Eastenders is so far beyond reality it's almost laughable.

I mean, I'm not a fan of Kat and Alfie, but that doesn't make it a bad episode, for me. Sometimes couples insist on getting back together despite how bad they are for each other or whoever they hurt.

The only things I found beyond reality is that the man on the scooter gave up his vehicle for a few quid and a watch () and that the airport staff were so inadequate.
Oh and Kat just leaving Tommy at the top of the stairs as she ran to Alfie, leaving the lovely hostess to paitently wait for her to finish.

Good acting all round though. I loved Kat and Bianca's goodbye in the airport, and I fely very sorry for Roxy. Alfie is a muppet.

I haven't laughed at an episode of a soap so much since Simon Barlow ran into his mums restaurant in a dress and make up

no more beyond reality than a plane crashing into a tiny village, followed by a storm, a hurricane and a flood.

no more beyond reality than a tram jumping into a sweet shop like it was on legs

no more beyond reality than one small village being home to 13 serial killers

it's a soap.

just a few weeks ago we were moaning nothing was happening now we're moaning because something is?

it was far farfetched but it was hugely entertaining.

Faye and Grace put a dress on him and smeared makeup all over his face, he came rushing in to the Bistro with tears down his face.

Grace was rewarded with a tub of ice cream and telly, her mum didn't care. Now the police are involved.

If you mean HO, im guessing you mean 13 at one time (if not your opinion is irrelevant)

So 13 serial killers in the village all at one time.. name them

Ah yes, it makes sense. It would be the thing for me to put in my pocket on my wedding day: no money. Just my passport.

I said in another thread, he wouldn't have been able to go her the plane after he was running around knocking people over and screaming and shouting like a mad man throughout the airport! So unrealistic!

Why the heck didn't Alfie just ring Kat??!?! Everyone has a mobile these days, a quick call telling her they need to talk, don't get on the plane would have saved THE stupidest episode of Eastenders in Eastenders history, I mean, come on script writers, seriously, if you are going to do a story like this at least make it believable!! No one hammers on a plane door seconds before take off and gets let on board FFS, passport? Where was Alfie's? I'm assuming he had a ticket.......

It doesn't matter where people post or how frequently people post. The fact that people who rarely post have been spurred into action by this dire episode speaks volumes in itself.

I was being sarcastic!

point being all soaps are ridiculous and ee's airport reunion doesn't even come close to being the most ridiculous episode ever

Are we really expected to believe that the security guard would just let Alfie through and risk his job for the sake of a stranger's love? Oh wait, it's EastEnders!

it could also be the other way round though and people have noticed ee is on the up and need to have a little dig.

I don't disagree it was ott but it was not terrible either not close. it was hugely entertaining and reveled in its soapiness. it was everything soap should be if even it didn't quite get it all right in the end.

let's face it we're now complaining that something actually happened in ee... after a year of nothing let's take a step back and hear how ridiculous that sounds

It was like watching a dream sequence. So far from reality it was untrue. Soap or not - it should resemble reality a little bit.

It wasn't good viewing. How can you enjoy the episode when you continually thinking how silly it is.

...I'm not and I shall refer to this episode everything someone says that EE is the most realistic of the soaps.
