Thing is she fell in love with a married man, she tried it on with him whilst Kat was away and he was still married, the second the Kat affair broke she jumped on Alfie whilst he was in pain and lonely and she moved in with him just like that....he never had a moment to digest what happened with Kat and come to terms with it and decide for himself. Was always going to end this way.

He is an idiot for stringing it out though and doing it in the church.

Kat had cheated on Alfie and Alfie had dumped Kat, so Roxy did nothing wrong.

Please, she hardly manipulated him into bed.

Roxy thought he really loved her, he's the pathetic little weasel here without a backbone.

Alfie is his own man. Roxy didn't force or manipulate him to do anything. She just fell in love with him. Not really a crime.

I disagree. Alfie has known from the start, he didn't love Roxy so he shouldn't have got together with her.

She didn't though did she?

It defies logic why she would even look twice at a spineless weasel.

Roxy deserves to be happy. The slug and the slag do not.

Roxy in no way deserved that. So what if she got with Alfie days after his split from Kat.

He was single and unattatched.

Kat cheated on Alfie.

And Alfie stringed Roxy along for a whole year. He had plenty of opportunities to tell her he didn't love her but chose not to. He was on the rebound but also told Roxy he loved her.

Roxy is naive, gullable and can be dellusional but she did not in any way deserve what happened to her tonight.

Didn't she go after him whilst Kat was at her dads or sisters then Kat came back and kicked her out?

You dont move in with a guy who's marriage has just fallen apart and is angry and in pain..I remember right after the Kat affair came out she coming onto him, he was on the rebound and in pain and it was a way to show Kat he'd moved on.

She wasnt that nice to Kat as well until the point Kat helped her from that guy that was stealing money from the safe.

I don't actually mean she deserved for that to happen at the alter, but more for the relationship to end.

ETA: I just went on her wiki and it talks about the relationship with Alfie Moon....she fell for him whilst he was still married, and she tells him...thats not something you do to a married man....tempt him to cheat, that was before the news about Kat's affair.

I think Roxy must have known Alfie didn't love her. She was told enough times and even saw it herself, but I do feel bad for her. She clung on in there hoping he'd love her and then he humiliated her.

She told him because she coudnt believe that Derek had noticed it and Alfie hadn't. She even offered to move out of the Vic. And when ALfie first kissed her, Roxy did have her doubts but Alfie said he loved her.

Roxy has a bit of a habit of going after men who have issues in their relationships or are emotionally unavailable, and won't completely fall for her, because they love someone else more. She got with Jack, whom her own sister loved. She tried to get it on with Max, while Tanya was getting cancer treatment. And she did confess her feelings for Alfie while he was still married to Kat, and Kat was away taking care of her ill father.

But I wouldn't say Roxy deserved this. Alfie led her on for months and months, he knew he loved Kat more, and Roxy wouldn't be "it" or "enough" for him, yet he let her go on believing that they would have a future together. Roxy didn't deserve that.

No she did not. As much as she was a deluded fool, she did not deserve this.

It is so easy to be blinded in love, especially when Alfie was happy to go along with it and string her along.

Alfie has a brain and his own mind, if he didn't want to get with her, he could have easily said no. What makes it worse was he had months to figure out he was in love with Kat, but decided to reveal it on his wedding day. Alfie's the definition of a pathetic loser/idiot.

But everyone knows not to go after someone on the rebound...and especially when his marriage has just crashed around him in the most humiliating way and within the space of a year of the cot death/baby swap saga...she jumped on Alfie as soon as he kicked Kat out. Once he was in the relationship and saving face infront of everyone it was kind of hard to stop things moving on...and maybe he did believe he loved her..they where very close friends..she should have listened to everyone around her, but instead she accused her sister of being jealous of her just like she did when Ronnie warned her about Sean.

Well he was happy to receive all the hugs and kisses. Say his head was messed up, why did it take him this long to tell her his true feelings, after a month of dating he should have told her 'no' and to remain friends.

Thing is Eastenders is getting so stupid...Kat would not have had an affair with Derek...Roxy would not settle for someone like Alfie...and Alfie wouldnt let it get to the I do stage and actually marry her as he is not cruel...they've just wrecked all the characters.
