I started watching Hollyoaks in 2006 after Family Affairs ended and from then to now it seems that Bryan Kirkwood is the only producer that can make Hollyoaks good.
Hollyoaks from 2009/2012 was awful and only Brendan Brady and Silas Blissit kept people interested but since Kirkwood has returned he has ended the Maddie era, ratings have went up and great characters like Tony, Jack, Frankie, Darren, Cindy and Diane are being used properly again and not wondering around in the background.

I know he destroyed Eastenders and fans have never forgive him for that but him and Hollyoaks are like salt and vinegar and the show is in good hands with him.

I agree he is the best thing that Hollyoaks has and to be honest the show has been boring since 2008 so atleast it's interesting now.

I agree, overall I like what he has done.

I have to admit, Hollyoaks is quite good again. I just hope it lasts.
