You tend to find when you have your own business that you get loads of christmas cards in November off suppliers etc. The only thing that made me question was would you put them up at home or at the factory ?

anna doesnt have her own buisiness though? its the usual mistake of misjudging seasonal events. like sunlight flooding down the streets after tea time in autumn etc.

Thank God someone else noticed! I was saying to my flatmate "Have you seen how many Xmas cards they've got??? It's still November!!". I was so obviously gripped by the Faye storyline! then it went to Peters flat and they had a load too! Did the set dressers get their timings of these episodes airing wrong?

It was a bit daft how every house suddenly had Christmas cards up all at the same time.

They usually do that with the decorations as well, everyone trims up on the same day.

Sort of O/T but I noticed the other day that Hayley/Roy and Peter/Carla have the same cushions, while my sister noticed a while back that there were about 4 houses with very similar pictures on the wall!

Walk through Manchester city centre at the moment and you'd be forgiven for thinking it was Christmas Eve. You can't move for the Christmas market, which has taken over the city, and there are carol singers - yes, carol singers in November - all through the city centre. Now, I love Christmas, but really...

Compared with the rest of Manchester, the residents of Weatherfield seem quite restrained.

Yes it's always quite funny when the set dressers only have a certain amount of time to do this for continuities sake, so it all gets done in one big go! mind you the Rovers has been done early this year. They all get taken down at exactly the same time too!

I'm very proud of our Christmas Markets and the amount of people they attract can only be a good thing for Gods wonderful city...
