But it doesn't matter, regardless of what we think, he will be lauded an EE 'icon' - which almost makes me choke with anger. |

I can't believe that nine people thought that the episode was excellent from start to finish
were they watching the same programme as me?

Loved it from the beginning to the end.
![]() The whole episode was a brilliant mix of drama and comedy. What I loved about it: Rita Simons was brilliant The Ronnie and Roxy scene The Bianca and Kat scene - 'you're my best friend' Phil dragging Alfie back into the church Alfie on a moped and then running round an airport looking like a clown Kat and Alfie at the end - great acting... particularly from Shane Richie - and I'm not a fan! |

As a non watcher of EE for quite a long time now...I got stuck watching it last night as my daughter came in as it started and switched over to it.
Alfie played his part well at the wedding and showed real emotion...then it descended into farce and all reality went out the window. Ronnies sour face hasn't improved I noticed...she really is a miserable old cow...and of course Philth just had to knock somebody around in the house of God *rolls eyes* So nothings changed has it? badly written stories and same old same old miserable regulars...I wasn't impressed. |

Total nonsense but I still loved it lol
I guess I am just used to EE making no sense because I didnt mind it at all...these things would never happen in real life but they can in soapland, just adds to the hilarity. |

A stand needs to be taken against truly insulting television that we're all paying for. |

The Poll is crap, not enough options.
Should have included one that said "Hated it from start to finish" then I would have voted. |

A messy and nonsensical load of old tosh to appeal to braindead viewers. Characters the writers think the audience will be cheering for going around behaving horribly. Scenes that were unrealistic. Naff acting and embarrassing dialogue. A total lack of planning into the cast list which meant characters that should have been at the wedding were replaced with random extras.
"The man in the moon!" hurr hurr hurr. |

Tragedy!
OMG. What a load of c**p that episode was.
If any episode highlighted the dire need for the forthcoming complete revamp planned by Alison Davis and Dom Treadwell-Collins, then that surely was it. I mean, to be honest I was expecting the entire congregation to suddenly throw their hands in the air, Tragedy (Steps version) pop video style, as Alfie fled the church. Then Phil accosting him...what rubbish! You know, soaps thrive on being tongue-in-cheekily camp, but there is good cheese...and there is bad cheese. Sufficed to say, we are not talking about the former here. I feel that Kat and Alfie are part of the problem with EE, not the solution. It is ironic that they returned in 2010, just at the point where Lacey Turner was about to leave...and the whole thing went t*ts up ever since. I was so praying for the Richie person to sit his a*se down next to washed-up Kat and fly off WITH her, instead of seeing the old bag trot off after him, inflicting this dire couple on us for yet another year or so, no doubt. Unless Dom and Alison do the decent thing...and put both out of their misery. PLEASE GOD................

Agree - Why couldn't they have stayed on the plane? Kat on her own has actually been watchable again...but Alfie...eurgh! As some actors force the other people in the scene to up their game, Shane Richie seems to force people to do the opposite so he doesn't look quite so bad. But to be fair the writers were at fault last night, Roxy & Kat were actually giving it some welly, unfortunately the material was a pile of poo and you can't polish a turd. |
