Despite the writing being a bit dodgy, I did think last nights Eastenders was really good. Lots of great acting and drama mixed with some comedy. I couldn't help thinking though when Alfie was gonna say his vowels they may have mimicked Friends, "I take thee Rachel". Alfie seeing Kat and thinking of her up to the wedding may have got her name stuck in his head to say it instead of Roxy. Anyone else share my thought or am I just being crazy?

No I also thought that about I take thee Rachel and at the end it reminded me off "Did she get off the plane?!?" from the final episode of Friends.

Was a good episode, really enjoyed it. Doing my head in a bit that people on here are being a little bit too pedantic about some of the things that happened in the episode, but I suppose you can't please everyone... and certainly not on these forums!

I take thee Kat...

....to be my lawfully wedded cheat. To have and to hold whenever you're around, from this day to the next time we divorce, for worse only, for poorer only, in mental sickness worrying about you, till your inability to keep your legs shut do us part.

There's being pedantic in actually searching high and low for something to complain about.

Then there's last night's episode.

People are free to like it...but the rest of us won't pretend to hate it just for the sake of it, we have our reasons.

Even more unlucky that they didn't just fly away together forever.

The plane should have exploded and the theme tune should have played as fly me to the moon

I think our EE is far superior

We then cut to Amy Mitchell watching the explosion, who it turns out has come to avenge her mother. Then at that very moment she says her first words "Yippee Ki Yay, M***********"

Duff Duff...

Later we find out Tommy is growing up to be the next Michael Moon

Roxy has no memory of her daughter at all so AMy's revenge was unnecessary for her but OH SO necessary for us

Surely a plane explosing killing them both counts as 2 violent kickings?

That's fair. But picking on things like why he had the passport on him (Which has been explained) and throwing the helmet or getting the boarding pass, I'm not sure that should of mattered last night and I'm sure other soaps have done it before... When watching I did say no way would be be able too get a ticket that late, but I'm not going too hold on too it, I enjoyed the episode so it doesn't bother me and things like that in TV tend not too, I just enjoy watching tbh!

Definitely! I think even the writers at EE know this now, maybe that scene was a little homage too it? haha :')

Again, that's a fair assessment. I do understand why people found the episode a little over the top and slapstick, but my gripe is the way in which the characters were portrayed, especially Alfie, going through the wedding after realising he was making a mistake.

Kat is like rachel because she is slightly slutty, has awesome one liners and can put up a fight. Alfie and Ross are the same because they spent quite a while to try to get them plus they are sometimes annoying
