my goodness, is it really going to be another tenfest?
Some people even have Craig giving a ten

I think as usual the judges will over mark their favorites, and undermark the usual suspects

So 10s for Natalie, Abbey, Patrick and maybe Susanna, and non for the others, even if they are better!!

How about the novel idea that a 10 is for a wow or perfect dance, as far as the judges are concerned. What we see at home is via the decisions of the director as to camera angles. Rather than assuming the judges have favourites because they don't see what you see at home, and don't mark your favourite well enough to suit you.

To be fair, I sensed favouritism when Darcey gave a ten to Patrick for his American Smooth with that disastrous ending, and when Darcey, Len and Bruno gave tens to Abbey for her Quickstep when you could drive a bus between them...

Well, as we don't see the dances in full then many of the debates about footwork etc are moot.

And even the judges disagree with each other.

Only when Craig gives a 10 do I feel like the couple deserve it

Exactly. Craig has been the most consistent throughout.

Hmm, probably completely wrong but....
Sophie and Brendan: 8,9,9,9=35 (Still looks like Brendan is dragging her around a little to me)
Mark and Iveta: 5,7,6,6= 24 (He's a gonna no matter who he's up against in the DO)
Susanna and Kevin (Difficult but bases on ITT) 7,8 9,8=32 (Too much gapping/messy lines for my liking but Len will like the traditional footwork stuff and a potential for it to fall into place)
Ashley and Ola, 8,8,8,8 (Male Rumba's never score particularly well, probably be criticized for lack of connection etc...)
Patrick & Anya: 9,10,9,10 (They've been gearing up to award him tens in two weeks now and he's fluffed it, if he nails this I think a couple are nailed on)
Abbey & Alijaz: 7,8,8,9 (Unless her latin has suddenly become a lot stronger, I think she'll struggle, heading for the DO imo)

oops, forgot Natalie and Artem, too much out of hold for Len so I think 9,9,7/8,10

Not sure I have a favourite yet this year, but agree I don't see what the judges see.
Agree 10's should be for perfection so was rather surprised so many were being predicted by posters.
But do feel judges marks were rather skewed Blackpool week with a lot of 10's for dances that did not provide WOW factor or perfection.
It's all personal really isn't it?

Personally I think they have over marked everybody (even Craig is guilty on occasions) too often this year. Including my favourite.
