Hi
My hdr1000s has started failing to record programmes that I have scheduled.

The hdd is 99% full so I guess there is no more room.

Auto delete is turned on in the settings so why is it not auto deleting

I have just done a factory reset and maybe that will sort it out
but could someone just explain how the auto delete works

I wouldn't even bother relying on auto delete, I always delete as I watch unless it's something I want to keep.
Have you tried deleting a load of stuff to see if it continues to record?

Thanks for that

But you have to delete one programme at a time don't you

I thought I read that you cannot delete folders or pick multiple programmes to delete like the hdr

Delete series is an available option.

Thanks, I have just found the series delete option. That will sort my problem

Having just checked before deleting anything

With auto delete on, the hdd was 96% full with only one programme queued to delete.
I had just one film protected from deletion.

I would have thought that auto delete would kick in before the hdd was that full.
