EastEnders biggest problem is how it irritates people like me of how hypocritical it makes it's characters!

Roxy - Slept with her sisters boyfriend Jack, Kept a baby lie saying it was Sean's when it fact it was Jack's, she hit out at her sister after she said she was lying about Archie, she pounced on Alfie when he was vulnerable after losing Kat.

Ronnie - She stole KATS AND ALFIES baby, she has tried to used so many men to get pregnant, she was a horrible bit*h to danielle when she revealed she was her mum.

Phil - where do I start? had an affair with his brothers wife/girlfriend, he has beaten up and bullied his way round the square and lets not forget covering up a murder!

SO HOW THE HELL CAN THESE PEOPLE TURN AROUND AND SAY KAT AND ALFIE ARE BAD PEOPLE? URM HELLO!? TYPICAL MITCHELLS!

Kat isn't the problem. Alfie is a HORRIBLE person! He's so dark and miserable! What right does HE have to attack Ronnie like he has over the past few weeks?! He isn't and never will be Tommy's dad so he should quit trying! If anyone's to blame for the whole baby swap situation, it's Alfie! He should have been by Tommy's side if he was such a doting father, rather than partying downstairs in The Vic!!

He irritates me so much. Every time he gives Ronnie that 'look' or offers a snide remark, I just scream at the telly saying "WHO ARE YOU, THOUGH????!!". Glad he's getting kicked out of The Vic, I never did care for his 'Alfieness' charm, if that's what you call it!! Kat, on the other hand, is great and works extremely well by herself.

Oh and Kat and Alfie kissing each other, the night before Alfie's wedding to Roxy, kinda makes them bad people... but say what you will.

Sadly I think we're all hypocrites in our own way, just some more so than others.

Alfie and Kat just go round in circles.
Bianca and Billy are always moping around, complaining about not having enough money.
Ian's too much of a wimp - Denise has been ruined by him.
Phil continues to think he owns the community.
Max goes from woman to woman.
A new love triangle/affair is beginning between Sadie, Jake and Lauren. I mean, really? They've been in the show two seconds and the best storyline they can come up with for them is an affair. So sad to see that's the best they can come up with nowadays.
Then, of course, we have Masood, David and Carol. Give me a break.
Jay kissed another woman, after all the investment made into his and Abi's relationship.
Even Janine's been ruined. She used to be my favourite character but these days she's unrecognisable. I'm actually glad she's leaving which I thought I'd never say.

The only characters I enjoy watching now are Abi and Carol. Poppy's good, but she's off, and I've actually really started to enjoy Kirsty, too. Typical!

The characters are just too unlikeable, that's what I'm trying to say here. They're so inconsistent and/or tied up with tedious, pointless storylines. The writers have a lot to answer for.

1. Alfie is not a bad person, he's actually one of the few decent and honest people left in the Square.
2. What Alfie did to Roxy was wrong, but it does not even come close to what Ronnie did to him.
3. He has every right to attack Ronnie, she stole his child. What right does Ronnie have to lecture Alfie on morality?
4. Alfie is Tommy's dad.
5. Blaming Alfie for the baby swap is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever read on this forum. He also was not 'partying downstairs' when Tommy was stolen, he was at the hospital with Kat.

Every character in EE has done something wrong or bad. Some pay for their crimes, others don't. Ronnie did. Alfie won't.

Walford is not a real place, its purely for the enjoymmt of an audience so all these people will keep on interacting forgetting all their past sins. It's always been like this.
