Nokia for Dad
Hi all. I wonder if you can help me. I'm looking to get my dad a new mobile phone for Christmas. At the moment he has my old Nokia 3100, which is a basic 'featurephone' style.
I'd like to get him something newer, but still the classic candy bar style with largish non-touch screen. Looking on Amazon there seems to be quite a few to choose from. I'd like it to be 3G if possible as I would like to get the rest of the family on to the Three network soon (parents are still PAYG and paying quite a lot for calls in Orange/Vodafone). Can anyone make any suggestions? I'd like to spend around £40 if possible. Thanks. |

Nokia 112, Nokia 113 without 3G are around £35
Nokia C2-01, Nokia 301 with 3G are around £60. You may look around, but 3G seems to be above your budget. |

It seems basic phones have gone up in price. I'm sure my first Nokia was under the £100 mark.
I'll shop around and see what I can find. |

A Nokia Asha should be available at that price point.

My first Nokia was £180 RRP... 3210 in 2000.
According to 3's website the Nokia C2-01 is £29.99 on PAYG. Pretty decent if you ask me. |

It would be, but apparently 3 unlock phones for free now. Or so others are claiming on this forum.
Even if not, it's just an indicative price. |
