Lost service on Three
Anyone else on Three just completely lost service? Have restarted phone and will only connect to 2g backup. 3g is in the list when doing a manual search but refuses to connect. Restarting the phone doesn't help either.

Ok here.
However, service was incredibly slow last night. Had to use tethering whilst waiting for a fault to be fixed on my broadband connection. Things started off ok but then slowed to dial up speeds for a number of hours. Seems to be ok at the moment. |

Had crap speeds all afternoon and these days it is almost unusable in the evenings.
Congestion I would suspect but it was fine until six weeks ago. Hopefully 4G will sort this out and if it does not I will most likely leave them and try one of the other crap networks. |

I've got signal again but it won't connect to the data network.

Speeds are restricted when you tether.
Only when its congested will you see a lower priority when tethering. |

So if a mast isn't congested a user could easily see tethering speeds above a few Mbps?
Use 30GB a month on average. Trafficsense is only there for when it needs to be there. Like i've said multiple times in the past, Three is the best for speeds and tethering. When a mast is congested during peak times then the priority given to tethering is lowered and this is reflected in the speed/performance. |

Yes. I consistently get over 10Mbps when tethering my phone.
Use 30GB a month on average. |

Sure they haven't been working on your mast today?
I'm in a different part of the country to you, but a lot of masts around here have been undergoing maintenance. |

I've seen nearly 20mbps when tethering to my laptop, so it's certainly not restricted.
And no service issues here either. |
