Everyone gets too content, not hungry, so no significant friction or arguing takes place. Result? A less entertaining show.

Next year the producers need to do a number of things, such as:

1- Make the tasks more difficult.
2- Give immunity the following day once the public has chosen someone to do a task. This is because everyone voted for Joey day after day thinking he was too thick, when in fact it back fired and he was actually very good.

I'm sure there are other changes that could be made to create a better viewing experience.

why not just axe the trials, tell them they are living on beans and rice for three weeks, and only get to win extra treats from dingo dollars, this would give us more time to watch them in camp and they would be hungry and maybe even decide to eat Joey?

Even though lots of people disagree I've always maintained you need hopeless camp-mates like Mckeith or Flanagan to screw up the BTT. As you say, content celebs with full bellies rarely makes for good entertainment.

And for those that say they do enjoy happy contented celebs having a laugh, without failures their successes aren't as enjoyable, for them or for us. Instead of despair and delight, light and shade, we end up with constant okayishness which makes for a very flat experience both for the viewer and the camp-mates.

Everytime something happens we see it happen, and then we are told about what happened by the camp-mates, it is so boring. It just stretches out the tedium and also we never hear from the saner elements in the camp - always the divas. There is only so much hair tossing, hat wearing and posturing that one can teke in an evening. Plus the monotone voices as they drone on about how absolutely brilliant they are.

I have noticed in this series that the camp-mates who wish to portray themselves as being sensitive souls actually have a hide like a rhinocerous (sp?) unless their own behaviour is under scrutiny. I'm also fed up with fake tears. People who are shedding genuine tears have red faces, and usually some wet stuff coming from eyes and nose and aren't able to mop up the tears with little dabs at their eyes but have to resort to handkerchiefs and blowing of noses.

It's strange thing - but it was the public constantly voting for the likes of Helen ad Gillian that created the tensions in previous years. I do agree though and in a way it's only fair on the celebrities if they all get a trial before the vote offs start.

Ha ha.

To be fair, I think the tasks trials have been pretty much the same as ever: it is just that Joey, Kian and Lucy are all athletic and hard to scare. I would like to see Annabel do one to see if she can overcome her obviously genuine fears.

I don't think the trials are easier. I think that they knew Joey would be up a lot and he had the look of someone that would fail. They got the celebs wrong.

And they've had opportunities to take away food, like last night, instead of warning about contraband they should've just said the meals for that night were forfeit and any future ones would be too unless they handed over the goodies.
