I wonder whether the producers have made this 'camp saviours' thing deliberately confusing so as to generate both confusion in the camp, and discussion amongst the audience? If it's not deliberate, it's a mess, frankly.......imo, of course

They would be safe even if they weren't, so far I'm not liking this idea, I prefer bed bugs type immunity trials as all of them have to take part as a team.

Not only that but the people who gained immunity would have earned it themselves rather than having to rely on someone else to "grant" it to them

I find that aspect of it most unfair.

Not sure how much Ant and Dec care really.....but they didn't seem entirely behind the 'saviours' idea to me. Usually they put things across well, but I seemed as if they were just reading someone else's lines ( more than usually so. )

Yes, I don't find it fair that they get all the power, everyone should have a chance to get themselves immunity and not have to rely on others.
Obviously tptb want to change things up, but they should have kept the format of everyone taking part to win immunity but just change the challenge.

So from having 12 people to choose as your favourite to stay in (assuming for instance if there was NO immunity whatsoever) we're now down to a choice of 5.

Its a bloody mess. I think that the producers are making it up as they go along. Even Ant and Dec look totally perplexed by it all.

They're also doing a kind of bullying in a way - as the five that are left are going to be essentially ostracised by the others. They're going to have a right old inferiority complex! Its like the kids that are left till last to on the rounders team!

@imacelbrity:
Five immunity tokens! Who do you think will receive them? Will Joey and Kian look after number one first? #imacelebrity #iacnow

Tellymix is wrong.

It is a bloody mess , unfair, undemocratic etc.etc. What is going on here?

What a waste of immunity. Surely the producers know, there is no chance of Kian and Joey leaving first, so it is pointless letting them be immune

It is. All this meddling, why can't they leave things well alone?? The tried and tested format has worked perfectly fine up until now.

It shows who the last two finalists will be.

I think what happens is whoever wins the most challenges out of Kian and Joey is the one who wins immunity and recieves the five "Immunity Tokens" - and then that campmate chooses 5 others to be immune from the first vote off also.

If Kian and Joey were BOTH immune what would be the point of the challenges?

I know. The campmates probably know who will be the final two now.

Ah right, thanks for making it more clear now. I am a bit slow at times.

No BOTH Kian and Joey are not immune. They have to work together in the challenges to win 5 immunity coins. Then together they have to decide which 5 campmates including themselves are going to be immune from the first eviction.
