Problem topping up Three PAYG when out of credit

I am trying to top up a Three PAYG SIM which I have in a Mifi. I am topping up with a Visa card, problem is that after putting in the card details it goes into the "verified by Visa" screen - except it doesn't. It tells me to put my password into a non-existent dialogue box. I guess what is happening is that I can use the Three website without credit but as soon as it passes me on to the Visa site it fails. The first time this happened I rang Three and did the top up over the phone. I also registered the card for further use and was told I wouldn't have the verified by visa problem again, but I did. Is there any way round this ?

Since that post I have had a Three support technician remote control my computer to see for himself. Was equally baffled and has escalated it to a higher level. I really can't understand why everyone doesn't have this problem. Is there anyone here who has successfully topped up a Three PAYG with a credit card involving the Verified by Visa dialogue ?

I think it could be some sort of ad-block program preventing the verification from working. This first happened to me on a purchase a long time ago when my TSB verification wouldn't work, I quickly learned to always make sure to unblock the verification process!

Is the OP using Chrome? I can't gain full access to my account unless I go in via an incognito tab.
