I love everyone for different reasons apart from Brendan& Sophie. Sophie ie doesn't matter that u got nan and kids watching! So has everyone else! If you want a tea party go somewhere else. Brendan if you want a huff bout your dances save it for Itv2, I like my pros to act with dignity .we did not all like your dance. Some loved it and some didn't . Get a grip

Brendan's a cringeworthy irritant at times but Sophie's very likeable (if rather overrated).

I posted yesterday that, apart from Mark who just isn't anywhere near good enough, I don't really mind which of the other 6 couples win.

Sophie has delivered beautiful lines and grace to unusual but perfectly legit routines

For competitive including ex-comp dancers she is rather unique and on a crowded competition floor would be highly effective

There are in this series competitors I would prefer not to be in the company of but that should not detract from performance

I really like Sophie as a person, but after Mark, I think she is the weakest dancer left. Brendan - best left unsaid.

I'd have no problem with most of the dancers left winning, I'd have a real problem with Sophie winning, I think. I feel bad because I do like her, but some of her dancing has been horrendous. But then I can't separate it from my dislike of Brendan this year.

She lacks confidence, seems as if she's constantly "mentally looking over her shoulder" to see what sort of reaction her husband will have.
She won't make the final four unless something dramatically changes.

I find myself agreeing with these posts here. I don't want to say I dislike Brendan because I don't, but he can be annoying to me sometimes and he's one of the lesser enjoyable Pros to me. That's been making me not connect with this partnership as much as the other ones.

I like Sophie and think she's cool but I tend to find her kinda overrated (on here). I don't think she's as strong of a dancer as most of the other competitors right now. She's quite inconsistent but she did perform some dances I really enjoyed. She just wouldn't be my ideal choice of a winner.

I think Sophie's Ballroom has been up there with the rest (discounting Natalie's of course) and her Latin hasn't been much worse than Susanna or Abbey's.

And I still reckon she's performed the dance of the series with that Charleston.

It's unlikely she'll win now, but it wouldn't be a travesty if she did.

It would for me Sid, sorry. But I'm happy to agree to disagree though.

My problem with Brendan (and therefore Sophie) is that he thinks he is right all the time. The other pros I am sure could talk back to Judges if they disagree but they are more professional and gracious. It puts me off him to be honest.

I seriously don't want Sophie to win. She just cant DO most of the dances. She's a nice enough person, and I've got respect for Brendan as a pro, although as a person I love to hate him and he makes me laugh at his most serious.

I don't want Mark to win either. Or Abbey, to be honest, because everything she does has the same feel, and she just doesn't get any better.

The others are more interesting. Susannah isnt' a great dancer, but she can give the wow now and again, that rush of pleasure.

Patrick the same, he's not perfect, he bloody annoys me now and again, but he's got it in him and he CAN deliver.

Ashley is a dark horse, he's learning and struggling, he's got a huge amount of promise and he so, so tries and he GIVES himself, that has increasingly interested me, he has faults, but he's aware and improves and I can see love there for what he's trying to do.

Nat - I want her so MUCH to bring it - she HAS it, she can do it. She's another massive tryer, and it shows, too much. I so want a simpler dance for her, a 'falling in love' instead of the conscientious, performed, difficult choreography.

In short - not Sophie, not Mark not that happy with Abbey. The others I can live with.

Have to agree with you Sid. Sophie has more natural grace in my opinion than any other celeb this series. She also has a uniqueness and calm that makes such a lovely change from the 'oh look at me' crowd.

Not the best dancer but not the worst either. I doubt she will make the final but, just so I can watch all her dances, I hope she does.

As for Brendan. Not my favourite but the amount of anti Brendan threads here make me appreciate him all the more.

Sophie bash thread #445395

(I wonder if they realize they are venting their same opinions only to eachother )

Apart from Bruce, where? And to the same extent? Not that I've seen.

I think it's more a case of not that you notice. I notice the negative Natalie posts because she's my favourite, don't notice the negative posts about the others because I don't care. I think that's the same for a lot of people.

Sophie & Brendan are one of the few that I actually like (the other being Susanna, and I can give or take Ashley.. dislike the rest)

No that's fair enough

I don't think there's anyone (again, discounting Natalie here) that is so far ahead of Sophie in terms of ability that it would make her winning seem like a travesty. They've all got their strengths and weaknesses. Natalie is in a different league, naturally - she came with a lot of experience (and that's fine). I wouldn't think it a travesty if she won either but I'd find it a bit anti-climactic.

I agree Sid. I don't think it would be a "travesty" if any of them won, except Mark, because he is clearly no where near the standard of the others (imo).

However, as you say, I would feel anti-climatic if Natalie won, because of her lack of improvement, and doing one less dance than the others. I would also feel the same if Patrick or Abbey won, because they don't seem like the "winning" type to me. Susanna, Sophie and Ashley (and Natalie) fit that role better for me.

It was threads mentioned. And as I said I haven't noticed those at all for a long while. There are negative posts about pretty much everyone but the Bruce and Brendan threads churning out pretty much the same repetitive opinions are in overdrive.

I'm interested in all, for different reasons so I do notice, mostly.

But Brendan, good or bad, is the only one sticking his head over the parapet. Some, like you, find his behaviour endearing, others, like me, feel their nether regions scrunching up in embarrassment and annoyance. But for all Brendan winds the bejeezus out of me this year, more than any other, at least he's not being beige and bland.

Same with Artem really, he's my anti-Brendan, I love him, but recognise that's not a universal opinion and again, for all his rule breaking and choreographic divisiveness, at least he gives us all something to talk about.

Aljaz and Anya are, like the celebs, lovely people, lovely dancers, lovely choreographers but half the time we forget they're there unless Aljaz is wearing tight trousers or Anya has a wardrobe malfunction.

I guess, as a natural unappreciator, I'll always be able to recognise those that I can appreciate, at least, those that make you have an opinion one way or the other.

Is that a posh title for a more common description Alli ?

I don't think that there is anyone to really dislike at this stage.
