Home Hub 5
This is more a cautionary tale if you intend on buying one and you are on Infinity 2.
It seems no one knows why but if you buy one at the discounted price of £45 the order also tells the system to place you on Infinity 1 with a maximum sync of 40/10. This happened to me and has happened to a number of others that have bought it at the discounted price. It seems if you get it for extending your contract or you are daft enough to pay the full price you will be ok. I got no where with the call centres but via Email giving a full explanation of what had happened and including my line stats off the HH5 helpdesk page it was resolved swiftly and thankfully with an understanding of the problem. Id like to think its been resolved now but if it hasn't and your speed has plummeted you know why and what to do

Hmmm my speeds seem to have dropped back down to 40/10 despite having a sync of 80/20

Via Email seems to be the only way to get a result ill be honest, the contact always seems to be in the UK when they ring you.
