TrafficSense won't allow for tethering to affect the service of other mobile users who aren't tethering. Given that, what's the problem here?

There is nothing wrong with Three being basic. Many people want basic, they don't want to be paying for a contract that comes with a-ton of extras that they can't opt out for in return for a saving on their contract.
Didn't Three add the greatest amount of customers in the previous quarter? I guess the deal they're offering is pretty attractive..

You pay nothing more for it on Three, unlike EE where you have to upgrade to a more expensive plan.

That's why i've been paying £12.50pm on the one plan and buy my phones outright. It works out better for me and probably would for about 80% of people. Contracts are for those who can't afford/don't want to pay up front and would rather pay a monthly fee for the airtime and handset.
However, you've chosen Three's most expensive deal there. Their other phone deals (example I gave before was S4 Mini) are better than EE and other networks and overall are better value for money. Yes EE have more 4G coverage and perks and maybe worth the money for people who want to pay that bit more for those perks.”

£12.50?
