Oh brilliant to watch.

Don't think it deserved 10's

Enjoyable but not worth 10s

Was good, and the music and staging made it highly entertaining, but Craig was right with his score again. 10 should be 'perfect'. Sophie and Brendan's was still the. Dance of the series for me.

Fabulous! You know you're watching a wonderful performance when both the dancers and you can't stop smiling the whole way through the dance. Well done to Patrick.

This..... Even though it may not have been perfect.....

I'm no dance expert but even to my untrained eye, I saw a lot out of synch and what looked like plain 'what now' moments in that. Lively and enjoyable, but far behind the more imaginative and inventive Charlestons we've ever seen (which didn't get 10s). I think the judges have been on the helium and then some

Thought it was pretty 'meh' myself, certainly not worth 10s. 8s looked about right.

Other opinions are clearly available

Agreed.

Severely over marked. Should have been scored 32 at best.

No way was that worth 10's, just goes to show that the judges are puppets on a string.

Tbf the Audience made the most noise and cheer after Patrick's dance than at any other time during this series.

Sometimes the most perfect dance can sometimes not GRAB you.Although Patricks dance wasn't dead on perfect it was the most entertaining thing I've watched on this programme in a long time so I think the 10s were justifiable in my opinion if that makes any sense.
Also you have to remember this is just a Saturday night entertainment programme so we need to be careful NOT TO TAKE IT TOO SERIOUSLY

Completely agree. Just another example of BBC fixing.

I loved it and i've thought he's been overrated in recent weeks.

It might not have been perfect, although to my very unknowledgeable eyes it looked it but I absolutely loved it.

Woefully over marked, as usual.

To quote an old saying- your opinion is wrong!

i'm sorry, yes, it was entertaining, but at the heart of this show is still the fact that you have to dance well, and not just fling your legs about like a rag doll and be applauded because you did it energetically! Entertaining, yes, technically though, dire.

His swivel was the oddest I've ever seen and it was all a bit manic. Patrick really can't act either.

He's consistently over-marked and over-praised. Merits a 6... but someone wants him to win.

So most of the audience were wrong then as they went crazy for it as did the judges standing up and clapping........

I thought it was great - made me smile from start to end.

Loved it! Charleston is not my favourite dance (and it's not my favourite of Patrick's dances. That would be his AS) but great atmosphere and energy. So pleased they got a standing ovation at last.

It didn't do much for me. His movements looked a bit spongey - frankly for all the very difficult steps it looked slightly dad-dancish imo.
I don't know whether 10 is supposed to mean perfection, but it should at least mean (technically) excellent + wow. No one watching that could have said "Which one is the professional?", surely?

It seems a bit sad that Sophie and Brendan's charleston is now the 3rd highest rated of the series (and probably the 5th highest by the end).
