BT Data Usage Monitor Over Reading
Monster900
30-11-2013
Is there any reason why the BT online data usage monitor is over reading by nearly 1 GB compared to my Netgear router data monitor. (Apart from the fact the will screw an extra £5 out of me if I go over 15 GB)

The usage monitor counts both download and upload data.

As does my router.

Had Bt installed a week now and HH5 but reading on here last week about usage mine seems to be a lot more than it should be. Not using it anymore than normal from a 4m landline to 33 fiberline. I went for the 40gig limit for this reason.
Sometime the router reboots and doesn't cancel the total then like yesterday zero readings.
