Phenomenal?? The salsa is supposed to be all about the hips, the joy, the sensuality. Abbey has as much sensuality as a stick of celery

It was a great fun dance, executed with gusto and a good performance. Well done Abbey, it was entertaining.

But...I do feel, as it lacked Salsa content it was over marked by four points.

Another thing, and I know some people hate the inclusion of backing dancers, all credit to Abbey for dancing as a group for a fair bit of that routine. She really had to manoeuvre herself for those parts too, unlike others who haven't had to worry about their timing and synchronicity quite so much.

I bow to a dancers knowledge re: technique every time (would be stupid not too ) but for what she was asked to do and the way she delivered that ask, it was definitely deserving of top of the leaderboard.

Thing is, even dancers disagree with each other and often forget the fun and connection factors.

Based on connection and entertainment I would have Abbey top with Sophie in second place for the purity go the dance.

It hasn't gone unnoticed. There was a little debate over Natalie's scores, some felt Len right, other dancers disagreed. I think there has also been a bit of disagreement on the merits, or lack of, in Suzanne's performance.

Thankfully, I can hand on heart say I enjoyed something from everyone tonight. It was a great show.
