I'm a Sophie fan, but I have to say that I think her marks were fair tonight.
However.... I do think that both Abbey and Patrick (and Susanna come to that) were over-marked, and in that sense, Sophie should have received higher marks than them.

So did I! I am voting for Sophie and Brendan every week, the judges are very hard on her, not sure why! I loved her Charleston, quickstep and rumba last week!

Sorry.”

I have to disagree with you Smokey. Sophie brought an innocent joy to her VW which I don think any of those named could have done.

Sophie must be wondering what on earth she has to do to get a 10. I mean, some of the other 10's dished out have been ludicrous!

I think Sophie is lovely, but that was one of the most boring VWs I've seen in a while.

Of course she looked wonderful - but she IS beautiful anyway. She will always look lovely.

But the dance? Meh. Yawn. Brenda strikes again

The judges seem to be reluctant to give Sophie a ten, even when, like tonight, it was deserved. I can think of many occasions where Sophie has went out and delivered a great dance and has been unfairly marked compared to the other contestants (QS, Rumba, Charleston, VW, maybe even AT) What does she have to do to get the elusive ten?

I didn't think it was a 40/40 dance, although she did deserve at least one ten. Others were overmarked.

I so agree!! The marking was a disgrace!

This isn't snobby at all.....

What does the fact she's a WAG have to do with her dancing?

Sophies marks were fair but the others were way over marked - she would have been in my top two.

These phone in shows are always a tad dodgy. I never believe they even look, let alone count the votes.
maybe the producers decide the outcome of all phone in shows ?”

I'm not at all sure its hidden.
There are contestants that are consistently undermarked and those that are consistently overmarked.

It was ever so... though

Sophie is my fave but Abbey was brilliant (though it wasn't a bloody salsa!) tonight !!

Yes, it was fair. What's not fair is most of the '10's awarded to other dancers. For a '10' a dance should be near perfect and conform to the demands of the particular dance. Natalie's dance was barely recognisable as an AS, That was one of the few things Len has got right of late.

have to agree that she did a great job but the character of the dance was wrong so '9's not '10's.

Sophie has been CONTINUALLY undermarked whilst Patrick and Natalie have been consistently over marked. The mark for Natalie last week and Patrick this week were a joke. Sophie and Abbey did the best tonight. Mark and Ashley and this week Susannah were worst. Natalie was middle of the road. .

I had her 4th on the night, but still above Abbey....

Sophie has undergone a huge change since the series started. At first she was nervous, stiff and uptight, but now she is relaxed and cheerful and very pretty. With the dress she had tonight and the hair style it was obvious what they were going to do. I think she could have gone on stage and played the part of Maria (although I don't know what her singing is like).

All those rapturous comments from the judges, and a standing ovation from the audience, but not a single 10. That is what I mean by a bias toward the latin dances.
