Abbey's 40....what a joke!!!!

Have recorded and only just watched Abbey's so called "Salsa". Didn't even see her do a convincing salsa.

Rewarding "that dance" with perfect score is complete BS.

What are the judges playing at???

It was not a salsa and certainly not worth 40.

Sophie was much better but the judges saw errors as usual.

I obviously saw a different dance to the judges. I couldn't believe it when Craig gave a 10 and the others followed!
I rewatched it and that dance was hardly a salsa, a lot of faffing about (as I expected Len to say, but didn't) and there were errors.

Obviously the judges were blinded by the whole production with added background dancers too THAT it appears they forgot to watch Abbey faffing about.

I agree that was never a 4x10 dance , it was a disco dance NOT A SALSA, and not that well danced , whats with this backing dancers about , sorry I forgot it was Abbey the chosen one . She's a nice enough dancer but not by any means a perfect dancer .

Well I enjoyed it. If anybody was faffing about it was Artem and Natalie. I am glad Len pointed that out and marked accordingly.

I was quite bewildered by the 40.

I think Sophie, Natalie and Patrick all danced better than Abbey tonight, never mind in previous weeks where they've been denied 40s by Craig being a grumpy old sod.

Tune in next week - I've heard Abbey is going to tackle the technically gruelling "mashed potato." She might even be on the beat sometimes, but don't bet on it.

ETA - oh, and I really don't like it when there are other professional dancers, or massive use of props, in a routine. Brucie says, "let's meet the couples" at the start of the show, not "let's meet the couples, their backing dancers, and their special effects crew."

Such a stupid and infantile remark.

It's nothing to do whether one likes her or not, the comments are based on what the performance was on the night. I think Abbey has improved from day one and she did a fine Waltz previous weeks.

BUT that salsa tonight was really neither here nor there....it was a mish mash routine overtaken by the props and backing dancers and the music and the judges were carried way by all these props and have overlooked Abbey's technical aspect of the Salsa which IMO was very poor.
