If that were remotely true then I think it would be fair to say that there would be thousands and thousands of people complaining on forums such as these.
The fact that there isn't indicates you're in a minority.

I was on the £18 a month plan to test the system before I switched to the £12 a month contract and my speeds have remained constant ( and far better than my previous supplier).

To answer another poster, I didn't have to change numbers or do anything special to go onto the 12 month plan either, they just changed my contract and it was seamless.
Well it is true along with other friends at work.Just because your all hunky dory with Three doesnt mean everyone else is !

Simply not wrong I was with him when they quoted that he'd have to terminate at £25 a month rather than the £15 he was paying.

It was made clear to us the monthly contracted line rental is £25 and that's the figure used for early termination.
Then they were lying to you.

I pay £17.96 a month. Not sure where the 4p discount comes from.
I also pay £17.96. Not sure why.

No ofc not, but it still means you're in a minority otherwise these boards would be flooded with complaints.

Try getting in touch with Three, it may be a settings or local mast issue.
