Is there a max amount of devices you can share your purchase with on android.

Ie just now I can share a purchase with my phone, wifes phone and her n7.

2 kids are getting hudls at xmas and want minecraft. Wondering if I set thier stores up yo to my account then I can control the spend from mine and also just buy one copy.

I think it is three devices you can share with although I don't think the same applies to a paid purchase and if an app is compatible on another device.

I might just be safer making them a joint account. Keep then away from mine.

I don't think there's a limit, though better to have a joint account rather than use your personal account. I've certainly installed apps on more than 3 devices.

You can have more than one android account per device so you could have:

Your phone:
family account+ your account

Wife's phone:
family account+ her account

etc. so family purchases can be shared, but you each have your own email/google+/photos etc
