Which iPhone is best? 4s, 5c or 5s?

I'm choosing between all three as I want to know from people who own those devices. I currently have a HTC Desire S and I am approaching the end of my contract. My phone has experienced water damage so I am thinking of upgrading as the lady at EE told me I could. I have seen some deals but don't know what to choose. I would prefer an iPhone as they are simple and straight forward and great for internet browsing and gaming and this is why I don't like BlackBerries due to past experience.

The 5S would be the best of the 3.

Why would you not contemplate another Android phone as they have come a long way since the Desire and are just as good for web browsing and gaming etc?

I was thinking the same but more steering for the 5c, don't know why. Thanks. The 5s is powerful though against some recent smartphones.

And with not going for another Android, I think it's more of a change of scenery. I already have a Google Nexus 7 2012 which is an Android and want to use iO7 and want a change to be honest.

£349 for a phone with a 3.5" screen & £549 for a phone with a 4" screen. Scary.

My 4S is still going strong, but I can't imagine buying one now - go for a 5S or 5C for sure. Personally, I really like the feel of the 5C, but of course the 5S is technically superior.

The 5s obviously the 'best' of the three. But the 4s is still a good reliable phone. Just out of date by modern standards.

Define "best".

If you plan on breaking a lot of them, a cheaper one would probably be best.

By reports, the iPhone 5c is the very first iPhone to match other phones for signal quality/ lack of dropped calls.

After 6 years of innovation they have finally caught up.

And with a bit of patience the 16GB version can be had from Tesco from as little as £119 delivered! A not inconsiderable £350 cheaper than the equivalent 5C model.

Depends if you want Android or iOS as well though.

I'm sure you can do the same comparison with a PC and a Mac

Well, of course it does. Surely only the people who simply MUST have IOS would consider paying £469 for a phone that is very similar specs-wise to a £119 phone.
