Hello I recently phoned orange and got unlimited everything including data as I am a 4 star loyal customer they said there was no fair usage policy or anything.

But I can't find and terms and conditions for this on the orange website to see if it is that.

I'm on panther loyalty plus 36 for £35 a month which I think is a great deal can anyway one shred any light on terms and cons.

There is.

Was it an iPhone plan you got? Fair use is 750mb, once you hit the limit Orange reserve the right to reduce the speed of transmission or suspend your mobile internet browsing services.

http://studio.orange.co.uk/mobileter...ne-terms2.html

If it's a non iPhone plan then a limit of 1GB or 2GB applies. Check your Orange account for the exact limit.

Sounds like they are playing you by saying you're a 4 star gold customer, sounds like nothing special depending on the handset they've given you.

It's deffo not 750mb as that is the reason why I changed my service plan as I was going over my 1.5 gb allowance and paying over the odds for it

My phone is the iPhone 4S which I have had for over a year and have been with orange for 10 years.

Thanks

Ring back and ask them what plan you're on and what your allowances are. Or look on your online account.

There will be a hard limit. If no limit is mentioned and you're on an iPhone plan then a fair use policy of 750MB will apply.

I mean ringing up and speaking to someone else. Not the person who sold the deal to you. Ask them what plan you're on and what you get. As it's someone else you're talking to they should look at the account for you and state your allowances.

I used to be with vodafone (no more, I need a data network that works) but when I took out an offer with them, each time they emailed me confirmation of the plan limits etc straight after the phone conversation. Always good to see it confirmed.

This was via their web/twitter specialists though.

Still find this poor .. if it's 3GB they should sell it as 3GB - and as you say it's more than enough for most.
