I think she's outstanding...her debut album is the best to ever come out of the show in my opinion. This new one is sounding good too....

But she's so low in the Amazon sales rank etc and she's chosen the lead single abit of a non showy track and she has sooo much potential. Was it the wrong single. Her performance just didn't stand out....it was just nice. Her performance last year was EPIC!

I think Fake Smile might have been a better lead single..! That song tonight would have stormed it.

The song she performed tonight was SO dull. Very poor choice imo.

Her album is no 11 on itunes and her single is at 21, which isn't bad. I am expecting her album will do much better than the single.

I imagine she will probably sell a lot of physical albums rather than on Itunes and Amazon, so I wouldn't take where she is on them as a real indicator of how she is doing.

Plus Rebecca has never had a real high charting single, so I didn't expect this to be any different, she is primarily an album seller.

weren't her pre-orders for the last album more impressive though? it was reported at the time she beat one direction's pre-orders by 11% on amazon. she probably will appeal more to the people buying physical copies of the album though and her singles never really smash.

i don't think the album will flop, but i think it could sell less than her début.

I think her second album is a letdown and no where near as good as her debut, so i will be curious to see how well it does. I can't see her reaching double platinum again, not that it matters though.

I disagree, I think Freedom is a step up from her 1st album and shows her growing maturity and confidence.

But releasing a song like I HOPE, I HOPE, I HOPE, I HOPE, I HOPE, I HOPE, I HOPE, I HOPE, I HOPE is not the way to go at all.

After her xfactor performance I would agree with this comment. Since then I have been listening to the recorded version of I hope and it is much better and a real grower

I think this album will sell approx half what her last did and the next will go down quite rapidly.

There is only so far you can go without support from radio and she doesn't really do anything radio friendly.

The X factor performance, although not particularly good, did remind people she has an album out. So she should do quite well this week.

Its an amazing album! as was her first.
Taken back by it if i'm honest.
Best talent to come out of XF.
I'm not awe of her personality though, but voice/songs wow.

The lead single is good it's just a little repetitive and not showy enough to catch attention
The lead single should have been either:
False Smiles
All That I've Got
Hanging On
Beautiful Design

Just like the last album the wrong singles released...Shoulder to Shoulder, Mr Bright Eyes and Teach Me How To Be Loved went to waste!

43rd on the Amazon chart at the moment. Doesn't bode well.

She's Number 5 in the Official Midweeks it was said yesterday so it should at least be a top 10 Album .

They do come out but they are private, only industry people see them and a journalist tweeted a load of positions, including Rebecca's.

Good stuff. Hopfully with some airplay the album will linger in the top 40 for a while

Album charted at number 6 and the single at 15 which is an excellent achievement as she received virtually no radio support and was not play listed by any of the major stations. It is a brilliant album.

Well done Rebecca. Better than expected tough to beat Robbie,1D,Olly,Gary - she done well especially surprising on the single front. She sold more than James hadn't expected that and held up well in the week too.
Just to be clear i was not dissing her! i think her album is amazing...
