three hands down after been with EE for a brief period i could not wait to get back to three though it dose depend weather you prefer truly unlimited data or unlimited minutes (i have little use for mins but use data loads so this is my main reason for three). Other than that i find three customer service better than EE though TBF neither are that brill luckly dont have to ring them often,

As i say its what's more important to you mins or data and what value they hold to you, im on the one plan at £29 this come with a free sony xperia SP but i actually use the sim with a nexus 5, At the time or ordering (or indeed even still now) EE charge £42 .99 a month for this phone with a 20gig limit, I use about 18gig a month and when my net went down i used over 100gig, so on EE the 20gig pack is the cheapest i could get to keep within my usage, mins wise i never use the mins i get on the one plan so as you see three for me is massively cheaper, also where i live threes 3G is faster than EEs 4G,

so ultimatly your better off working out your data usage and your mins usage and seeing which will be best value in the long run, If your that bothered over it been 4g then by all means chose EE as who knows how long threes 4g will take i personally am more than happy to wait for their 4g as i say their 3g is already brilliant where i am

Three obviously as their network is truly unlimited with no speed restrictions (excluding p2p) plus unlimited 4G from January onwards where as T-Mobile unlimited has permanent speed restrictions of 4Mbps and is more expensive, with no option to upgrade to 4G, ever unless you switch networks.

Depends where you are. Bizzarely, call, text and data reliability is far better on 3 than on EE (I was on Orange). I bought my Orange contract out and haven't regretted a penny of it.

Three. I get fast 3G coverage, HD audio, 600mins 1gb data and unlimited texts for £9.90 per month. Plus at no extra cost, the forthcoming addition of 4G and the use of 3 like home.
Last time I checked no other big network could offer me this kind of deal.

I have friends who live in London who had their phones with t-mobile/chitter chatter. They've just moved to Three and are very happy with the change.

EE's 'optimised' network here is a farce (struggling to provide 2G, can't hold a call, slow texts etc) while Three's network happily rolls along with 3G all over the same area and reliable calls, texts and data.

I'm so glad I was only on PAYG with Orange, they'd have never let me go if I was on contract I'm sure... despite admitting I was in a black spot that they'd created :s but hey ho.

Oh yes, so in answer to the OP - Three. You couldn't pay me to use EE now.

Three for two reasons, one because I like to always have a 3G signal lot of EE phones you have to basically force into 3G to get of 2G. Two because I think you get better value for your money.

Would rather be on EE than Vodafone or O2 at present though. Now that Three have launched 4G even to only a small number of people will be interesting to see if the 4 month lead O2/Vodafone have is enough. I can see Three overtaking in rolling out there 4G network.

They're great for Data. Only EE trumps them and that's only because they've got 4G, which 3 is launching in a few weeks anyway.

Up until 2 months ago they were good but now they are pants in our area.If i were you i would get the 321 payg sim load it with £10 of credit and try it yourself for a month.

+1. Give it a try in the areas you plan to use your phone and see for youself how it performs. I regret not doing this with Orange but made sure to do it with Three! I very quickly found I was only using the Three SIM.

As with any network, depends where you live (and who lives around you).

i would go back to 3 anyday atleast me internet was always reliable, im currenly on tmobile and it's just so slow.

Neither to be honest. I've had contacts with then in the past,I've technically still got one with 3 (Oh runs it). T mobile are rude and their service isn't very good. 3 also don't provide that good a service and to contact them just gives me a headache. I'm quite happy with o2. Been with them for 7 years and I've not had any problems.

This is where O2 and Vodafone do the best in there customer service. I completely agree with you that EE and Three CS is vey annoying I've always put up with this specially in the last 2-3 years because I have found that there signal is now far better now than O2/Vodafone. Also I can't stand the poor voice quality you get on O2 I'm sorry if you disagree with me on that but I have always been able tell for years when I get rang by someone if they are on O2.

I've never had any problems with voice calls with 3, T-mobile or O2, it's mainly the data that was lacking on t-mobile and 3. In the areas that I've lived. However having said that my OH can't get any reception on his phone in our flat. 3 and the coverage checker say he should be getting excellent reception here so go figure.

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned the habit certain networks have of deliberately disconnecting all phone calls after around 2 hours (or another arbitrary time period)

Course none of my calls on EE have ever made it that long, all the cut-outs and distorted noises mean I usually have to give up and switch to my O2 phone after a minute or two. Was hilarious complaining about that to customer services, 25 minutes of them saying "could you repeat that I couldn't hear you" and me saying "That's exactly what I'm complaining about"
