On the mobile site view the 'last post' is from the arrow on the tight hand side opposite the thread name on the front page

Has it just got even worse? Before, I could barely read the panels at the top (Welcome, peeve) and (On Digital Spy) because it was dark grey writing on a black background. It now appears to be black writing on a black background which, strangely enough, is even more indecipherable. Hate, hate, hate it.

For me, the panels on top are black on a white background, and always have been since the change :s
I'm actually getting used to the new design. It's growing on me as they gradually improve it.

BIB - I have black writing on grey :s.
I think the type inside posts might have been made darker (or am I just getting used to it?), but it seems clearer.
Still too much headache inducing white everywhere
. Hate the typeface they've chosen in the reply button. It's so hard to read back and see my mistakes.
Want the old smilies back too, these yellow abominations all look the same. *stamps foot*... I feel a Violet Elizabeth coming on

I have this - mine's gone from grey/black to black/black like you, and the only thing I can see are the words "Private messages" in bright blue.
I also have the desktop site on my ipod, and it's legible on there as the boxes are white with black, grey and blue writing! (eek and confused smileys)
Edit: Can anybody tell me what "the breadcrumb" is please?
On the link to the fix notes at the top of the page it says that on the forums "the breadcrumb has been restored". (another confused smiley)

I complete agree. The text in the reply box is dreadful and why can't we have some decent smilies? Some animated ones would be great, otherwise give us back the old ones, please!

I wish they wouldn't use technical jargon and assume everyone knows what it means. (Where is the 'roll eyes' smiley when you need it, grrr?)
Its too "clinical" not user friendly, definately not easy on the eyes!! Bring back the old DS set up please..or make it as close as possible to what it used to be!

The breadcrumb is a navigation trail (as in a trail of breadcrumbs), so it should appear at the top of your page below the DS header banner and it should allow you to click back through to the main pages or the home page.
Mine is in a lovey shade of grey on grey below a black banner - but who knows what anyone else has got amidst the :s confusion/constipation ??? going on. Hate this layout, too cold, too white and the smilies just need to go away somewhere for a long,long long holiday.........
Anyway hope this helps.

On a Mac using Chrome, Stylebot is a great add on.
Others have suggested Stylish for Chrome or Firefox which could even get you the old DS style back (or near as).

It all looks a lot better on my iPad than on my desktop.
It's shades of grey and white on grey, but reasonably clear except the tiny type face in the reply box.
On my desktop its shades of beige and off white, and the text in the reply box is like unreconstructed ticker tape text
ETA the blues are quite nice, but the taramasalata pink that preface the posting tips and reply box is quite sickly...

Just had to have a moan at what they've done to this forum. I seriously question the judgement of those running DS is they believe this is better.
Surely they must have got the message by now that the overwhelming majority hate this appalling change .

I'm new to the forum and can only compare this to the recent "old" style. I don't know often DS administer changes? I don't like this either and it makes my eyes quite sore after a while. I wonder as to whether DS read these posts and therefore know that it does not seem to be overly popular ? Would they do anything about it though ?
