Leona's new Xmas album has a song on it called Your Hallelujah and I honestly think it is beautiful, the lyrics, the production and her voice are all fantastic.

I thought it deserved its own thread as I want to see people's specific opinions on this song.

Yes, the words are so poignant and a haunting melody. I love this track.

As I said in the other thread, it's the most beautiful song of the year.

It is a lovely song but I am bias because I have been a Leona Lewis fan since X Factor back in 2006.

Its a 'Run' moment

Its a message to her grandma who died sometime around when she was performing on X factor and never got to see her get famous.

Its quite moving actually.

I agree. The problem is that it won't get the platform and exposure Run got If it did, I could honestly see it getting Leona well on the way back to where she was when Echo was released.

I'm assuming only One More Sleep(which is fantastic too) will be released as a single and performed on The X Factor; it would be great if she performed this one on some chat shows and such.

It really is an incredible song, beautifully performed. A Leona classic!

It doesn't really fit that particular story though imo.


It might have worked better if someone edited so that by the time the bear wakes up the ending of the song was beginning, where the choirs had started and Leona is belting, so that it feels uplifting because the bear has awoke for Christmas.
