I can't even use the new site theme On my iPad words get cut of at end having to use mobile version just so I can see everything.
No idea what loon designed this new theme but they need firing seen some bad VB styles over the years but this is one of the worst so far. Viewing on an iPhone is even worse, same issue not fitting the screen but the font / colour is so difficult to read on a smaller screen. |

On the iphone at least, shouldn't you be viewing the mobile version of the site ?

Though on an iPhone maybe the screen is perhaps a bit to small to view properly. |

Oh well. I can view the screen perfectly and clearly on the mobile version. Really can't see what would be gained by using the full site on my phone.

the new layout and style sheet works for the main website, but definitely does not work for a forum.
clearly the 3 in-house guys involved never tested this on any mobile device, or if they did it was only to ensure all the adverts they plan to litter the screen with will display prominently. the forum skin needs a re-think. |

it doesn't work on a PC either. From posts its also unreadable on Ipads and tablets too. Same problems - text size and losing words and buttons on the right. It seems to have been written for a particular screen setting that no one much seems to have, on any type of device. And for viewers with unusually good reading vision....

Always use desktop sites on my iphone 5, I've got no data limit as such so it doesn't bother me, don't have any viewing issues by doing so either.
They seem to have fixed the page going off the right hand side. All they need to sort now is the tiny text(certainly when viewing on a phone anyway) |

With the desktop version you can see if threads have new posts before opening them, whereas the mobile version you have to open every thread to check for new posts. |

Gonzo. I dont.
When I open a forum it is bold for threads with new posts. I then click the arrow to the right and it takes me to the first unread post of that thread. |

If you have chrome you can install stylebot.
When on DS forum page click the CSS button on the taskbar and select install theme and then choose the theme you want. It's really good. |

Using the desktop version you can clearly see if new posts have been made without the need of entering the thread. Ahh ok. I generally only look at gaming forums anyway and sometimes in here. Could see that problem frequenting a lot of sub forums though.
