Are you kidding? This is what Matthew is like - a wind-up merchant. He's no different in IAC than he is in his show. So his reputation and certainly his workload won't suffer at all.

Don't know about Lucy - but I imagine Matthew has acted exactly how his agents expected him to act.

Do you really think anyone will care? Mathew will talk for ever about it on his show, Lucy has her job at Emmerdale....While Amy carries on being "Amy Who".

Amy's agent wont be to pleased with her, she really hasn't shone in this programme, they wont be queuing up to interview her when she leaves......No doubt the lads mags will still want her, as she's one of those girls who should be seen but not heard.

TV is money driven and I'm guessing that he will lose many , many viewers due to the way he's behaved in the jungle . I won't be watching again and I used to enjoy his show , I'm not going to watch it again as he's such a horrible person .

Same applies to a lesser extent to the Emmerdale actress possibly .

If the viewer feedback is extremely negative they could lessen her role . Viewing figures are very important after all .


Also if you check any / all of the DS popularity threads , Amy is extremely popular so that will raise her profile - job done .

My point has nothing to do with "getting on" with everyone . I'm on about the general public perception . Moat ow believe him to be unpleasant , bullying ,I'll tempered man . Hardly a good thing for someone with has his own chat show totally dependent on viewing figures .
There are millions watching this show all "were" potential viewers for his chat show .

Amy has so far been classy enough not to do lads mags, she hasn't needed to, to be fair to her. (but I think you knew that).

Well I will watch more of Mathews show, and I certainly wont stop watching Emmerdale.

Digital spy = a very small percentage of the people who actually watch the show, Lucy and Mathew would be out by now if people really didn't like them. They have nothing to fear.

Amy is a very attractive young girl, that's all that is required in beauty pageants, if she wants to make a career in the media she will need to find a personality, and listen to those people who are more experienced in the industry, rather than having this air about her that say's "I'm beautiful that's all I need"

Well, as Matthews betting odds of winning the show are 250:1 it suggests that he's disliked to the extreme by the viewing public . The very ones who keep him in his job . So it's hardly a case of ' some will like him , some not '!

Generally being a snob towards Amy. Belittling her profession, questioning who she gets emails from, besides thatnshe looks like she has just smelt a fart whenever Amy speaks or is brought up.

She also talks behind people's back. I'm glad Mo went cause Amy has done nothing to her and Mo has had it out for her since the beginning. She said she didn't know her but she knows that she is a backstabber and from the first moment she met her, she knew Rebecca was better than her? Just because she was a model and Rebecca had insecurities?

Annabel likely brought up the fact that she misses her daughter and maybe Rebecca misunderstood that and decided not to save her. But they made such a big deal out of it and accused her of playing games? Joey, Kian, Amy, Rebecca and David were all favourites. No one else was ever gonna win.

Amy was wrong to put Alfonso in it but you can't tell me that Lucy has nothing against her? So why deny it? At the end of the day, she is only 21. Compared to the likes of Lucy, Mo, Anabel and Matthew... these are grown mature adults. They're acting like children with the way they talk about her.

Even if they didn't like her, why say it to her and potentially upset her? Jealousy is all it is. They all have inferiority complexes against her and Matthew is just a d-ck.

Do people actually watch Matthews show?

We haven't seen Lucy say many things. We see less than an hour of stuff from the camp every day. Assuming that the producers love controversy, we have undoubtedly seen the very worst comments. I suspect there haven't been many more comments than the ones we have seen for 2 reasons. First, they would have shown us more and secondly, Rebecca was able to refer to the specific issue when questioned by Amy. Further, she seemed to have no clue about the supposed hate campaign. If there were never ending comments about Amy, she would have cottoned onto the idea even had she not thought it was a hate campaign.

I really don't see why Lucy has attracted such venom. Its all rather tame in the history of reality TV bitchiness.

I still like her anyway. She has a good sharp sense of humour and is quick witted.
