First, they would have shown us more and secondly, Rebecca was able to refer to the specific issue when questioned by Amy. Further, she seemed to have no clue about the supposed hate campaign. If there were never ending comments about Amy, she would have cottoned onto the idea even had she not thought it was a hate campaign.

I really don't see why Lucy has attracted such venom. Its all rather tame in the history of reality TV bitchiness.

I still like her anyway. She has a good sharp sense of humour and is quick witted.”

Quite agree with you

LOL well it was very late.

I think Amy is a clever girl, she knows exactly what she's doing, I'm just surprised there are still people who haven't seen through her game.

I believe it's only a matter of time. Amy has shown herself to be as 'difficult' person. and in the world of modelling which is, presumably her goal, such behaviour is definitely not encouraged, so the lads mags route might be the only route open to her.

It has me puzzled too. I've seen her helping out around the camp, washing Mo's hair for her, not shirking in the team tasks and being generally supportive. Furthermore, I don't think the general public have the same vituperative attitude toward her as some of the DS posters.

I believe she is Amy's next target though

And even if she did? Not really a problem for me, I respect any grown adult with regard to making a their own choices in life although I'd wager she can do much better.

I'd advise you not to take up a new profession as a careers adviser BTW if you genuinely think this might be the ONLY route open to her.

Dare I say, I don't think you really believe that, but perhaps we should leave it here? I'll happily show you how your assertion re her career choices is pretty baseless if you insist though.

I don't give a rat's patootie if she does lads mags or becomes what is ambiguously known as an escort. I am having problems coming up with other career alternatives for her.

Perhaps she dreams of having the equally ambiguous 'profession' of media personality, but you see, you have to have SOME degree of initial likeability to become a media whore(think of Joe Swash - at first showing some degree of personality, got lucky in landing the role of the ITV2 show, but that's just one job a year!).

She will find, all too soon, that beauty fades, but one's personality, nice or nasty, sticks with you for life.

So now we've gone from lad's mags to prostitute?

Really? It's sad that you think a young woman has literally nothing else going for her than her looks.

I'll say it again- 'and people wonder why the 'j' word ever get's bandied round on here'.

Again, not saying YOU are jealous of course, just that the nature of your post could certainly make some people think that.

I do wonder if some of the Amy supporters on here would be defending her if she wasn't 'pretty'. I bet if it was Laila, she wouldn't have a chance.

You jump too quickly my friend. I'm sure that with Amy's prowess at answering multiple emails during the wee small hours, she could quite easily land a job as a data processor or the like, but I somehow doubt that Amy would think that worthy of her.

Well this may well surprise you but I would have the same level of defence for Mo or anyone else if I thought the overwhelming number of posts slating her were also completely disproportionate to the so called 'crimes' of the individual. For some reason (and no I am NOT not saying or implying the 'j' word here) it's generally (but not always) the young conventionally attractive women who don't seem to have a level playing field, and who have far less margin for error. I see it time and again. There are of course exceptions, it's no where near a hard and fast rule.

If David or Matthew or Beccy or any of them were treated as I believe her to have been treated (and not just in the Jungle but also on here) I'd be just as vocal.

When it becomes a different demographic, they too will have my not insignificant (sorry couldn't resist!) support, I guarantee you.
I cannot speak for anyone else on here, just myself.

Come on, am not having a go at you but you must see how your post could perpetuate the idiotic posters that chuck out the redundant 'all women are jellus' schtick. Lad's mags and prostitute is a bit much my friend. Can you not see that?I'd say that about ANY contestant you said it about, Lucy, MO any of them.

If anything, I am on the side of equality for all women, not just a selective few.
If anything, I am trying to dispel the 'j' arguments that bore so many- or at least try to explain why I believe they come about.

(and no, I don't want a medal!).

I general love old people but Mo is a horrible , cynical old trout .

Good riddance , I hope to never see her again , ever !

Amy's a yong girl, there's always room for change and reinvention with her, and she hasn't committed a crime, so doubt her agent will be fleeing from her when she comes out. In a strange way, people expect less of those that model, so Amy's mishaps in there will prob be forgotten by the wider public in quick time when she's off doing her modeling shoots on a nice beach somewhere (and she will get work after this, easy. There are plenty of modelling jobs to be had outside of UK so she'll find work outside England if need be, though doubt she'd ever become blacklisted to the point she couldn't, that would be ridiculous). Whereas with Lucy and Matthew, they are far more connected to the public (with their soap and tv host jobs, in comparison to Amy's job) so their adjustment after the show (if they don't come out shining of roses by the end) will argubly be more than that of Amy's (if they are presumed to be more valued celebs than her). The higher you are, the greater the fall, after all. Amy, as people think, is a nobody, so she is at the bottom and therefore has less steps to reclimb from. But Matthew and Lucy have had solid careers for a longer period, so argubly any stumble in their career, whatever type, would not be wanted. However, I don't think what's gone on in the jungle is bad enough for any three of them to think they won't be working again, or be worried of the prosect of people not wanting to be associated with them. They might have to prove themselevs abit again and clarify things they said in the jugle along the way, but Matthew and Lucy will be ok, just as Amy (who basically has the world at her feet) will too.

I do follow TWS thread and I take it you have blanked out how Madeley is NOT liked and that many can't wait for Wright to return. I do not count comments as you seem to but i think 99% is a more than slight exaggeration to fit your argument

She's the kind of person who's only happy when she's able to put someone down and make them feel small

I don't think the issues with Amy are all that personal - Amy's just in the firing line .. when you've got a 30-something woman constantly sniping at and trying to bring down a young girl, it's a bit disturbing

I think she will come out better from this because I think when she's shown her actions, she'll probably be as disgusted as the viewers and media have been

I don't think they will at all..Vile I would save that for Rapists, Murderers, Paedophiles..Not some actress on a RTV Show!

Might be something to do with it being on in the mornings. I've never seen it, but I work. I never miss BB.
