I agree, sadly. I've only listened to it all the way through once on the iTunes stream.
Such a shame people won't give Britney's albums a chance, it's such a grower, in the space of a week I went from hating it, to mildly disliking it to LOVING IT!
And so many said 1D would free fall in their 2nd week as it was heavily pre loaded

Britney Spears ' new album is really all about the music and a gift to her core fan base. She has not really promoted the album or supported it with any live performances. Right now for her it's all about the Piece of Me show in Las Vegas. I have no doubt she will once again be back in a few years firing on all cylinders and promoting her music once again! In the meantime I think we should just enjoy Britney Jean and not worry about its commercial prospects, after all she's been in the industry for 15 years, numbers can't be as important to her as they once were, she's an established artist with a career that only others can dream about having!

I agree, as disappointing as the chart positioning is, I absolutely love the album and don't think she should be worried, she certainly doesn't seem worried.

But the album is poor in comparison to her other albums? I'm sure that if this album got to #1 around the world then you'd be saying how she's slaying once again and has still got it, but you're just using a cop out excuse.
