I've got to agree with Al. outside the UK joey is not known ; and I didn't know him before this show. But Rebecca and Steve Davis must be more famous than joey.

Kian is. He was in the biggest boyband in the world at one point, everyone knows who Westlife is. After him, I don't know - Because people only know Al because of Carlton and Joey is only big in the UK. But it would be between those two for second place.

To me it's Steve Davis.

I knew of the group Westlife, but I haven't got a clue about the individual members. I have have heard of kian.

Being an oldie, I knew who David Emmanuel was but I doubt younger people would recognise him. Steve Davis and Rebecca Adlington must be quite famous, Kian certainly is. I didn't know much about any of the others.

Kian, Alf and Lucy are the ones I know best. I did know who Joey was but only because I watch Celeb Juice. I would say though that globally the best known would be Kian and Alf followed by Steve and Rebecca.

Like Al said,it's a generational thing. But worldwide I'd have to say Al. swimming fans would be Rebecca and snooker fans Steve.

Funny you say that, My mother was quite surprised too find out I knew who he was, I'm 20 btw. Don't put it past us youngsters, we know more than a lot of people think hahah

I cant stand snooker but I know who Steve Davis is.

He's extremely famous. So famous he had his own Spitting Imagge puppet. I can understand youngsters not knowing him though

Thing is though,he was still playing not so long ago, and he appears on or has appeared on a few panel games.

I don't doubt he was playing recently but snooker is nowhere near as huge as it used to be

Actually he IS still playing. On the main tour and reigning seniors champion as well. And if you're talking world wide like Al did: There are millions of snooker fans in continental Europe, China and India who certainly know him (whenever he makes it to the tv stages his matches will be shown, he's such a legend). Very much like him though not to try and get to be the first in the line.

In the UK I would say Kian and Lucy, I'm surprised that Joey thinks he's more famous than a Soap star, or a or a member of Westlife. TOWIE doesn't get than many viewers.

I'd have said Steve, Rebecca and Kian. Steve was a big star in his day, well known even to those who didnt follow Snooker.
Rebecca was everywhere after winning her medals, and, like or loathe them, Westlife were huge ( although, not being a fan, I always knew Kian as one of the two who didn't ever seem to sing!)

Steve and Rebecca, kian possibly because he's in westlife but would people know him individually?! Bet most people over 35 wouldn't know who joey Essex was so was a bit ridiculous putting him up there
